Angelique Manto and David Guison are proving that weddings don't have to follow a fixed formula. As individuals with strong personal identities and distinct creative styles, the couple chose to celebrate their big day in a way that felt authentic to them.

ICYDK, the two content creators tied the knot on May 19, 2026, at Sine Pop in Cubao, Quezon City. And as expected, it was a wedding that beautifully blended modern aesthetics with details of the traditional ceremony.

True to what Angelique shared throughout her "Anti-Bride Diaries" series on TikTok, the couple never intended to remove the culture of traditional weddings. Instead, they reimagined certain elements that truly reflect their personalities, values, and relationship.

Here's everything unconventional and thoughtful creative choices we loved from their wedding.

Everything We Loved About Angelique Manto And David Guison's Wedding

Neutrals theme

If you follow Angelique and David on their socials, you'd know that they love neutrals and muted tones on their curated Instagram feeds. The same aesthetic was visible on their wedding day. Angelique and David chose a black-and-white palette for the celebration, extending it even to their guests' dress code. While black is often tied to mourning in traditional contexts, the couple redefined it in their own way, using it instead as a symbol of elegance and love.

The overall production at Sine Pop also stayed true to this aesthetic direction. Instead of an overly decorated venue, the space was styled with a raw, industrial, and brutalist approach. Exposed concrete details shaped the altar and seating. The cool, muted tones of the setup were softened by the natural greenery of the bamboo landscape around the venue.

No excessive flower arrangements

ICYDK, one of the biggest wedding expenses is in decor and floral styling, and it can easily become one of the most overwhelming parts of the preparation. But for Angelique and David, they went for the most practical—and minimalist—approach.

To soften the starkness of the venue's concrete structure, they incorporated black anthuriums as the primary floral accent for their wedding. This was then layered with cascading white florals displayed.

Even the bridal bouquet stood out as a statement piece! Instead of a traditional arrangement, Angelique's bouquet centered on a single black anthurium. Replacing the usual wrapped stems, the bouquet was constructed using silver-toned metal chains, giving it an edge that felt more like an extension of her wedding dress.

They have a film viewing and an extended art exhibit

What we love about Angelique and David's wedding venue is that it became an experience shaped by art and storytelling. The two fully embraced the venue's original creative purpose, making use of Sine Pop's features in a way that felt immersive and intentional.

Instead of showing their prenup and wedding videos as a quick program segment, they made it feel like a cinematic experience. Guests watched the films in a theater-style setup, making it feel more like a private screening than a typical wedding reception program, where most guests don't really pay attention. 🫣

Sine Pop's built-in exhibit areas, which feature different artworks and paintings, were also part of the celebration. Rather than covering them up, the couple kept them visible and included them in the overall design, making every corner of the venue visually interesting and well thought out.

The couple wrote a personalized letter for EACH guests

In most weddings, the spotlight is usually on the newlyweds receiving messages from their guests. But for this celebration, it's a two-way exchange. While guests still shared heartfelt notes for David and Angelique during the reception, they also prepared individual letters for each guest.

It was a simple gesture, but it definitely made the experience feel even closer and more meaningful for their intimate wedding.
