Anne Curtis Mourns The Passing of Her Father, James Curtis-Smith

Actress and TV host Anne Curtis has shared the heartbreaking news of her father's passing. In a post on both Facebook and Instagram, Anne announced the "unexpected yet peaceful" death of James Curtis-Smith at the age of 82.
"It is with profound sadness that we announce the unexpected yet peaceful passing of our father, James E. Curtis-Smith. A true patriarch in every sense, he shaped us with strength, resilience, and a wit that will forever echo in our family," the post read. "He was deeply loved, endlessly admired, and will live on in our hearts always. We will miss him dearly."
James was an Australian lawyer who was married to Carmencita Ojales. Together, they had three children: Anne, Jasmine Curtis-Smith, and their younger brother, Thomas James. James also had children from previous relationships.
Anne and her family have always shared how deeply their father influenced their lives. In 2023, James celebrated his 80th birthday in La Union with an intimate family gathering that included Anne, her husband Erwan Heussaff, their daughter Dahlia, and Jasmine. Anne and Jasmine's half-siblings were also present, along with their children.
While the cause of his passing has not been disclosed, the Curtis-Smith family continue to receive messages of support and condolences from fans, friends, and fellow celebrities.
