BINI isn't done making the Philippines proud. After becoming the first P-pop group to perform at Coachella, they added another historic moment on the list—showcasing Filipino diversity on a global stage by speaking different regional languages during their set. Each member introduced themselves in their respective mother tongues.

Maloi kicked things off with a Batangueño greeting, "Ala eh, pagkakasalida!" Sheena followed with a familiar Tagalog welcome, "Kumusta, Coachella!" Gwen then took the spotlight with Bicolano, saying, "Marhay na hapon, Coachella. Oragon!"

Proudly representing Cebu, Aiah hyped up the crowd with "Coachella, shagit og kusog!" meaning "Coachella, make some noise!"

Stacey greeted the audience in Ilocano with "Coachella, naimbag nga aldaw kanyayo amin," which translates to "Coachella, a good day to all of you."

Representing the group's global appeal, Mikha leaned into her fluency with a high-energy welcome: "What's up, Coachella!" before Colet repped her Boholana roots and wrapped up the introductions with "Maayong hapon!"

In that moment, it became clear that BINI's presence at one of the world's most prestigious music festivals went far beyond delivering a performance. They stood on that stage not just as artists, but as storytellers of Filipino identity—proudly amplifying the richness of the country's languages and culture before a global audience.

And it didn't stop there. As their set came to a close, cheers from Filipino fans grew even stronger when the Philippine flag lit up the background during their outro—an image that felt both powerful and personal, raising the bar for what Filipino representation can look like overseas!

Fans couldn't help but feel immense pride in BINI's Coachella stint. On X, BINI has been dominating the conversation racking up around 1.1 million posts and counting.

April is shaping up to be a milestone-filled month for BINI as they continue to gain recognition on the global stage. After Coachella, the group is set to perform at the Grammy Museum's "Global Spin Live," making them the first Filipino to take part in the series. The performance is scheduled on April 21 in Los Angeles.

They're also closing the month just as strong. On April 29, BINI is set to receive the "Global Force Award" at Billboard Women in Music 2026, cementing their growing influence worldwide. ICYDK, Sarah Geronimo was the first Filipina to earn the same recognition in 2024—making BINI's achievement another proud moment for Filipino music on the global stage.
