Who Is the Viral "Power-Couple" Blind Item About? These Celebs Speak Out

Recently, a blind item suggesting trouble in the marriage of a celebrity "power couple" went viral online. The post painted a picture of a seemingly perfect couple on social media—but allegedly living a "double life" behind the scenes, with hints of possible infidelity.

Of course, it didn't take long for the gossip to catch fire. Fans flooded the comments, and entertainment journalists even reached out to several well-known couples to see if they were the ones being referenced. In response, celebrities have publicly clarified that they have no connection to the blind item.

Marian Rivera reportedly denied allegations that she and husband Dingdong Dantes are having marital problems. Dingdong and Marian a.k.a. DongYan have been married for more than a decade and are parents to two children.

Entertainment columnist Rose Garcia says she personally reached out to Marian for confirmation and shared her account of the conversation in one of the episodes of YouTube channel Marites University. "Ni-message ko si Yan (Marian Rivera). Sabi ko, 'I'm sure aware ka sa blind item kung saan sa comments section kayong dalawa ni Dong ang binabanggit."

As for Toni Gonzaga and Paul Soriano, the blind item seems to be brushed off as a "waste of time." During one of Toni's TikTok Live sessions for an antioxidant product she was endorsing, Toni directly addressed and denied the "nonsense" allegations, even comparing them to toxins that need to be flushed out.

"Do not waste time sa mga nonsense, okay? It's a waste. And dapat mga waste, fina-flush sa CR," the actress said. "Katulad nito, umiinom ako ng antioxidant so lahat ng waste in my body, ifa-flush sa CR tulad sa ibang katanungan ng mga tao dito na walang kwentang questions," she added.

Toni and Paul have previously faced public speculation about their relationship, but Toni has consistently denied these claims and affirmed her trust in her husband.

Without hesitation, Luis Manzano clarified that he and wife Jessy Mendiola are not the couple being referred to in the viral blind item, firmly denying any claims that their marriage is falling apart. True to his unfiltered personality, Luis directly shared the post on X (formerly Twitter) and addressed the rumors: "Sleep lang po ako, di po kami 😂😂😂."

Luis and Jessy have been together since 2016. They tied the knot twice, first in a civil ceremony in 2021, followed by a church wedding in 2023.
