Donny Pangilinan isn't one to stay quiet—or ride the clout—especially when some fans clearly cross a line. The actor recently spoke up after tensions flared online, with some fans pitting his love team with Belle Mariano against Shuvee Etrata following a viral clip of the latter fangirling over him at a birthday party.

Shuvee, who has long been open about being a fan—and even having a crush on Donny since her stint on Pinoy Big Brother—quickly became the target of bashing. But the backlash didn't stop there. In response, some of her supporters began dragging Belle into the issue, sparking even more unnecessary hate between both camps.

Donny didn't let that slide. Even while on vacation abroad, he broke his silence to call out the toxic fan behavior, making it clear that he doesn’t tolerate clout built on negativity.

"I feel like we've gotten too comfortable throwing hate online without thinking about how that affects actual human beings who have done nothing wrong," the actor expressed.

More importantly, Donny underscored a point that often gets lost in stan culture: "actors have personal lives, too"—and they deserve to have those boundaries respected.

"This is for all fandoms. Artists have lives too. It's gone below the belt. Why did we reach this point?" he added.

He also urged people to keep Belle "out of their narratives," going on to praise his co-star as "beautiful, talented," and someone with a genuinely good heart.

"People forget we are all friends in this industry. Why do we keep pitting people against each other?" Donny said.

"And to those who think i just enjoy the clout and people getting bashed, you clearly dont know me. Feel free to leave. There is no space for that here. I am and never was about that," he emphasized.

Belle shared the same sentiments as her on-screen partner and urged both parties' fans to "choose kindness," noting that there are other important things that deserve attention.

"I call on everyone to let go of the negativity and hate that’s been going around," the actress wrote.

"Let’s choose kindness, patience, and understanding. Wag na po tayong mag-away away," she added.

Earlier, Shuvee spoke and clarified that her feelings were purely fangirling moments. She also apologized to #DonBelle fans for any misunderstanding, acknowledging that her actions may have sent the wrong message.

"Sa lahat na po ng DonBelle fans, gusto ko pong mag-sorry if I reacted that way. I'm so sorry if I'm always fangirling over Donny. I will do my best para mapigilan po yung nararamdaman natin next time," Shuvee expressed.

"I hope you just spread love. Be mindful of how you say your comments online. Kasi, words can really be painful to somebody," she continued.
