1. Khalil Ramos

We've seen it all over the news: jammed ACMs, rejected ballots, shading mishaps, and other polling day glitches. Like many Filipinos, actor Khalil Ramos experienced his share of election day hassles.

In an Instagram story, Khalil shared that he waited in line for three hours to vote and encountered a technical issue: his vote for the party-list wasn’t counted. He explained that the ballot marker bled through the paper when pressed too hard, potentially causing the machine to misread his selection and interpret it as "overvoting".

He warned fellow voters and urged them to avoid pressing too hard while filling out their ballot to prevent similar problems.

2. Kim Chiu

For My Love Will Make You Disappear actress Kim Chiu, voting is more than just a right—it's a powerful act that helps shape the nation's future. In an Instagram post, Kim shared a photo proudly showing off her inked finger and encouraged fellow Filipinos to make their votes count.

"This is our power as Filipino citizens who dream of a better, more progressive country—where the taxes we pay turn into services we truly feel. From local to national positions, let's vote wisely," Kim said.

She added: "Let's pray for leaders with integrity and compassion, not just for ourselves, but for the good of the entire nation. Huwag natin sayangin ang pagkakataong ito—bumoto tayo para sa kinabukasan ng mamayang Pilipino."

3. Nadine Lustre

Despite being in the island province of Siargao, Nadine Lustre seized the chance to vote, even if it meant waiting for hours.

In an Instagram story, Nadine shared that the line at her voting precinct was not only long, but also painfully slow. While she didn't specify how many hours she and her boyfriend, Christophe Bariou, had to wait, Christophe posted their inked selfie at 8:22 PM—well past the official 7 PM cutoff—indicating they made it just in time.

Still, it was all worth it. Earlier, the actress encouraged voters to exercise their right and take part in shaping the country's future. She also reminded Filipinos to vote wisely and choose leaders with solid track records and those who genuinely care about the welfare of the Filipino people.

4. Erwan Heussaff

Erwan Heussaff had his share of post-election reflections after casting his vote—and his sentiments were grounded in truth.

Erwan posted a photo of his ink-stained finger, a symbol of his participation in the elections, in his Instagram Stories. But instead of a celebratory caption, he offered a candid take: a reminder that even amid the political noise, disillusionment, and uncertainty over whether the results will be worth it, voting still matters.

His message wasn't about idealism—it was about responsibility. Erwan underscored that while many may feel skeptical or disheartened by the system, choosing to show up and vote remains a meaningful act in the pursuit of change.
