Liza Soberano, Lea Salonga, Manny Jacinto, And H.E.R. Are Leading The Cast Of DreamWorks' New Animated Film

DreamWorks Animation just dropped the voice cast for its highly anticipated feature Forgotten Island, and it's a lineup you won't want to miss: Lea Salonga, Liza Soberano, H.E.R., Manny Jacinto, Dave Franco, and Jenny Slate.

The story follows lifelong best friends Jo (voiced by H.E.R.) and Raissa (voiced by Liza), who find themselves stranded on Nakali, a magical and mysterious island inspired by Philippine mythology. But there's a twist—the only way home might mean giving up their most cherished memories. Expect all the feels, big laughs, and a colorful journey celebrating friendship, culture, and self-discovery.

Liza, fresh from her Hollywood debut in Lisa Frankenstein, brings charm and heart to Raissa. On her Instagram Story, she says, "Thank you @dreamworks @joel.crawford.art @jmercado for making my dreams come true 🇵🇭❤️."

Broadway legend Lea, who recently lent her voice to Netflix's K-pop Demon Hunters, adds her iconic voice and unmatched musicality. She even shared her excitement under the Instagram announcement: "AYAN NAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!"

Forgotten Island is part of DreamWorks' 2025 lineup, which also includes The Bad Guys 2, Gabby's Dollhouse: The Movie, Dog Man, and a live action How to Train Your Dragon. The animated adventure-comedy hits theaters on September 25, 2026, via Universal Pictures.
