Glaiza De Castro And Rhian Ramos Celebrate The Women Who Made Their GL Film Possible

Published on Mar 9, 2026
It's not every day you get to work on a film that not only tells a story of love and self-discovery, but also gives you the chance to be surrounded by strong, driven women. For Glaiza De Castro and Rhian Ramos, that's exactly what made their latest girls' love movie, I Fell, It's Fine, such a meaningful experience.
At the film's media con held last March 5, Rhian expressed her admiration for the environment created by the women behind the project. "I wanna say that I'm proud of everyone on this table. It's really amazing what a bunch of able, smart, powerful women can make happen," she said at an interview with Inquirer.net.
Director Sigrid Andrea Bernardo, known for her precise vision and clear direction, led the film with an approach that made both actresses feel comfortable and supported. The story follows Anne (played by Glaiza), who is rebuilding her life after a rocky marriage while running a wellness resort, and Chicks (played by Rhian), a free-spirited force of nature who shakes things up—in the best way.
Glaiza shared that having a female director brought a unique perspective, saying, "We're just so happy that Direk Sigrid ang direktor namin. I feel more comfortable dahil sa point of view ng babae, same wavelength namin." She also emphasized the importance of the "trust and respect" that carried the production through its challenges. "Sobrang grateful ako to be surrounded by women who are driven and passionate. Hindi siya nangyari kaagad pero kailangan namin i-trust at respetuhin ang isa't isa."
Meanwhile, Rhian reflected on how Director Sigrid's clarity allowed her to fully immerse in her character's world. "Na-learn ko ang importance of being open and adjustable to any situation. Direk Sigrid is very particular, and she knows exactly what she wants, which I appreciate," she said.
Of course, the film wasn't all serious moments. The two shared that the set was alive with laughter, playful energy, and some truly memorable intimate scenes. From karaoke sequences to romantic encounters, both actresses approached their scenes with a mix of professionalism, preparation, and mutual respect.
"I'm just so glad that Rhian is my co-star," Glaiza admitted to Pep.ph, to which Rhian returned with the compliment, "I can attest na ambango ni Glaiza!"
Supporting the duo are Elizabeth Oropesa, Rafael Rosell, Queenay Mercado, Alchris Galura, and Ice Arago. I Fell, It's Fine hits cinemas on April 4, and we're sooo excited to see it!
