Is It Official? Lella Ford Just Gave The Sweetest Hint About Daniel Padilla And Kaila Estrada

Spotted: lots of smiles and maybeee a hint of love in the air. Rumors about Kaila Estrada and Daniel Padilla have been swirling, but it's definitely bringing support from those closest to them.

During the Star Magic Spotlight presscon for the Kapamilya Big 4 housemates on March 18, Lella Ford, Daniel's little sister, shared her thoughts on Kaila—and low-key gave the softest nudge that the rumored romance might just be real.

Lella, who was recently crowned one of the big winners on Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition 2.0, shared how Kaila cheered her on during her PBB journey. "Nagkita kami after Big Night po. Pumunta siya sa house. Catch up lang with family," she recounted in a video from Pep.ph.

When asked if she and Kaila are close, Lella's smile said it all: "Opo, of course… I'm so happy that she makes my brother happy." She revealed that even before entering the PBB house, the two were often hanging out, and meeting Kaila officially only made her joy for her Kuya Daniel even bigger.

"[Si] Ate Kai, she's a role model. She's someone I really look up to—hindi lang po sa acting, but just her as a person. She's very smart, very eloquent," Lella gushed. "She's so nice. I love her." On the possibility of Daniel taking the next step in the future, Lella simply said, "Go, kung saan siya masaya."

Meanwhile, Kaila recently celebrated her 30th birthday with a stylish photoshoot to kick off the trentahin era. Daniel’s mom Karla Estrada, known off-screen as Carla Elago Ford, left a sweet comment, "Happy Birthday kai 💜," which Kaila returned with a warm "thank you tita 💜." The exchange gave fans a peek at a genuinely supportive and welcoming bond between them, despite ongoing dating rumors.

Karla previously addressed the rumors in a TV Patrol interview in December 2025, leaving confirmation up to Kaila and Daniel themselves. "Nasa edad na kasi sila eh," she said, adding, "If I see my son happy, I'm happy as his mom." She also shared that she's known Kaila for a long time, which makes the family-friendly support feel even more genuine.

While Kaila and Daniel haven't officially confirmed anything, they've been spotted together more than a few times. Daniel even showed up at Kaila's birthday bash and delivered a live song performance.
