ICYMI, Kiray Celis Is Expecting Her First Baby

We've watched Kiray Celis grow from a child star into the successful woman she is today—and now, it seems we're about to witness a new kind of growth, as she prepares to welcome and raise another life of her own. ICYMI: Kiray announced on April 24 that she's expecting her first child with her husband, Stephan Estopia.

The actress shared the big reveal on Instagram, documenting the nerve-wracking wait as she took a pregnancy test. When the result finally appeared positive, Kiray broke down in tears and embraced Stephan, with the two soaking in the joy of their journey to parenthood.

"Ikaw ang pinakamatamis na sagot sa lahat ng panalangin namin 👶🙏,” Kiray wrote.

Family and friends from the industry joined in celebrating this new chapter for Kiray and Stephan as they step into parenthood. Fellow moms and actresses Angeline Quinto, Dani Barretto, and Alyana Asistio were among those who warmly welcomed Kiray's pregnancy and shared in the couple’s joy.

"May mga kumare na ang anak ko @kiraycelis congratulations sissy ko!!" Alyana expressed.

Rocco Nacino, Xyriel Manabat, and Jackie Lou Blanco also sent their heartfelt congratulations for the couple.

Kiray and Stephan are slowly but surely building their family just four months after they tied the knot in December last year! The pregnancy announcement also carries a special meaning because April is also when Stephan proposed to the actress. The couple has been together for five years.

In an earlier interview, Kiray shared her dream of having a big family, even hoping for as many as seven children. She also revealed that Stephan has been fully supportive of this vision, even taking an active role in tracking her monthly cycle.

"Siya may plano. May app siya, updated. Binabantayan. Siya yung excited, talagang noon pa man kinukulit na ako," Kiray shared.

"Seven talaga (her dream number of children). Apat kaming magkakapatid. Tapos noong nabigyan ko ng bahay family ko, nagawa ko pangarap ko na sari-sariling kwarto. Pero ang lungkot pala. Hindi ko na nakikita kapatid ko, so dadamihan ko," she added.
