OMG, Is This A Hard Launch Yet? Klea Pineda Had The Sweetest Birthday Video For Janella Salvador

This March, for Janella Salvador's 28th birthday,  Klea Pineda posted a very soft, very romantic video greeting dedicated to her "Janjan." The clip felt straight out of a girlfriend POV, featuring snippets of an intimate dinner date, quiet laughter, and Klea gently pinching Janella's cheeks. The video opens with a voiceover from Klea, sharing how lucky she feels to know her. Yes, we all heard that!

Janella reposted the video on her story with the caption, "So ganito pala feeling ng tears of joy? noted." And if that didn't say enough, their friends were right there in the comments section hyping them up. Sue Ramirez dropped an emotional reaction, while Faye Lorenzo and Kim Rodriguez joined in with their greetings.

This month, as if Janella's birthday content couldn't get any dreamier, she also posted a dreamy birthday shoot where she looked like an actual fairy in a garden. In her caption, she talked about "touching some grass" and leaning into her "softness" and "vulnerability," an energy that feels very aligned with everything she's been showing lately.

Janella is no stranger to love teams, but this time, she's clearly doing things on her own terms—and honestly, we love that for her.

Her latest project with Klea was with their Cinemalaya 2025 entry Open Endings, which premiered in October. The film follows four queer women who were once romantically involved with each other and are now navigating life as best friends. With its sweet story of friendship and love between women, it's no surprise Janella called it her dream role.

Off-screen though? That's where things started to get even more  interesting. 

The two attended the film's gala night together, and since then, fans have been clocking every update. Because suddenly, it wasn't just promo anymore. In November 2025, Klea flew Janella and her son, Jude, on a round-trip flight from Subic to Lingayen—with Klea herself as co-pilot.

Come December, the timeline only got sweeter. The two spent the holidays in the US together, sharing cozy snaps and soft captions that had everyone curious.

That same month, they were also spotted in La Union, enjoying a low-key night out at Flotsam and Jetsam, a go-to spot for chill beach hangs and spontaneous moments. In one of the video scoop, the fans couldn't help but silently scream over what seemed to be Klea kissing Janella. 

And just when you thought that was it, they welcomed the New Year side by side. Without saying much, they posted glimpses of their celebration with their family—complete with a back hug from Klea and a glowing, smiling Janella. 

Fast forward to February, and the duo was spotted traveling in Japan with friends, proving how their ship might already be quietly sailing. Based on their shared snaps, the trip included stops in Kyoto, where they explored famous spots like Kiyomizu-dera Temple and the Yasaka Pagoda, plus moments of enjoying Japanese food and taking in the scenery. The real highlight, though, was them goofing around while skiing together.

But here's the real kicker: before the trip, Klea brought Janella along to her mom's birthday celebration, adding a more personal layer to the whole getaway. Talk about meeting the parents already!

Instead of getting caught up in labels, Janella and Klea are clearly focused on what matters: making each other feel special. For Klea's birthday earlier this March, Janella shared a super soft IG post featuring pictures all from her POV, including one where Klea kisses her hand in the car and another of her being playful with Janella's son.

In her caption, Janella basically sealed the deal on their ride-or-die status, writing, "i'll always, always have your back and side (as a passenger princess)." Honestly, we're seated.
