Today in major celeb news: the young Daez is here! Megan Young and Mikael Daez just welcomed their first baby together.
In an Instagram post on May 28, 2025, Megan confirmed that she has given birth for a week already. She wrote, "Welcome to the outside world, our little!!! It's been a week with him and we're filled with so much love."
The post included a compilation of all the Polaroid shots from Megan's weekly journey—or should we say, weekly bump during her pregnancy. The last shot showed Megan and Mikael holding their little one.
Their family and friends flocked to the comments section and congratulated the new parents. "You are the coolest mom for sure!!! Congratulations again, my queen," Miss World Philippines 2024 Krishnah Gravidez said.
"Ohhh… Congratulations, Megan & Mikael! I know you’ll be wonderful parents! God bless you both and your baby!" Coney Reyes commented.

It was on December 6, 2024, when Megan and Mikael announced their pregnancy. Megan captioned her baby announcement with, "A new beginning for us. Bonez & Fofo & Baby Daez." Weeks after their first announcement, they also shared that they will be having a baby boy.
For some, it may look like a long time coming, as the couple got married way back in 2020. In the past, some pregnancy rumors have actually circulated online about the two, which they have humorously and respectfully denied to the public. Moreover, Megan and Mikael have been vocal against pressuring couples when it comes to the timeline of their family life.
In one of the episodes of their podcast back in September 2022, Megan noted how Filipinos tend to be conventional when talking about building a family nowadays. "Some people are curious as to why that's our point of view because I guess it's not normal, or it's not like a common thing for couples to be like, yeah, we're fine even if we don't have kids," Megan once declared.
