Robyn Brown Is Having A Baby Soon—And Her 'Physical: Asia' Family Is Sending All The Love

Published on Jan 28, 2026
Robyn Brown just added another major win to her list of milestones. The SEA Games hurdler and proud member of Team Philippines in Physical: Asia recently announced that she and her husband, Alejandro Castillo, are expecting their first child. The joyful reveal was shared via Robyn's Instagram, where she posted a compilation of videos documenting how the couple shared the news with family and close friends over the holidays.
"It's a surprise 🤭🎉🎊 We spent our holidays announcing the next chapter in our lives. And this week, we found out if we're having a boy or a girl 🥹," Robyn wrote in the caption.
The video captured teary-eyed reactions and all-out happy celebrations, offering fans a glimpse into a softer, more personal side of the elite athlete.

Of course, the comment section turned into one big congratulatory group chat with fellow Physical: Asia athletes, teammates, and fans across the region.
"Congratulations teammate!! @hadassah_coveney and I are so happy for you both. Best times ahead! ❤️🙏🏽," wrote national rugby player Justin Coveney, to which Robyn replied, "Thank you both! We're so excited!!"
CrossFit athlete Lara Liwanag commented, "Love! 🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻," while strongman Ray Jefferson Querubin chimed in with, "@runrobyn_ congrats both of you! 🎉❤️👏."
Support also poured in from beyond Team Philippines, with Team Thailand's James Rusameekae Fagerlund and Team Australia's Dom Tomato and Eloni Vunakece sending their congratulations.

While Robyn didn't officially reveal the baby's gender in her post, fans picked up on a subtle (and adorable) confirmation in the comments. Replying to Team Australia's Katelin Van Zyl, Robyn wrote, "Gonna be a boy mom like you <3."

Robyn and Alejandro got married in November 2024 after several years together. Since the release of Physical: Asia, Robyn and her fellow castmates have reunited multiple times over the holiday season, sharing behind-the-scenes moments and playful TikToks that showed just how strong their bond remains off-camera.
So… is this another athlete in the making? Too early to say, but we wouldn't be surprised. Congratulations, Robyn and Alejandro!
