SB19's Trilogy Finale Concert Is Coming To The Big Screen And We're So Sat For It

Published on May 22, 2026
Ready your popcorn—and tissues!—because SB19 is giving A'TIN another chance to relive one of the most emotional and unforgettable nights in the group's career.
Last April 18, SB19 transformed the SMDC Festival Grounds in Parañaque City into a massive celebration of music, growth, and Filipino pride through Wakas at Simula: The Trilogy Concert Finale. The open-air concert served as the grand culmination of the group's trilogy era, which began with Pagsibol in 2021, continued with Pagtatag! in 2023, and officially came full circle with their second studio album Simula at Wakas, released on March 27, 2026.
A few days after the massive sold-out show, fans received another exciting surprise when David Tu Sun Song, Executive Producer of CJ 4DPLEX, officially confirmed on April 21 that the concert is heading to cinemas as a film. CJ 4DPLEX, which is part of South Korea's CJ Group, is known internationally for producing large-scale cinematic experiences and immersive movie formats used in concert and blockbuster screenings worldwide.
David later took to Instagram to tease the upcoming project and thank fans for the overwhelming support the concert received.

The album itself became a huge milestone for the group because it brought together the themes and stories from their trilogy of extended plays while also introducing six brand-new original tracks. For many fans, Simula at Wakas symbolized both the closing of one chapter and the beginning of a new era for Pablo, Stell, Ken, Josh, and Justin as artists.
Throughout the concert, the five-member group delivered explosive performances of some of their biggest hits, including "Bazinga," "Gento," "VISA," and "Dungka," showcasing the sharp choreography, strong stage presence, and live vocals that continue to set them apart in the P-pop scene.
At the same time, the boys softened the night's energy with emotional performances of songs like "MAPA" and "Wakas," turning the entire venue into one giant sing-along with A'TIN. Between the cheers, fan chants, and emotional moments, the concert truly felt like a love letter from SB19 to their fandom.
The night also became an important moment for 1Z Entertainment, the company that SB19 founded and independently manages. During the concert, the group introduced more artists under their label, allowing fans to witness the growing future of the company firsthand.
Rapper J2X hyped up the crowd with his self-written track "AKONGAPALASI," while rookie girl group Xonara held their pre-debut stage performance for their song "Tabi." It was also during the same concert that Xonara's official debut date on May 15, was formally announced.
Naturally, A'TIN immediately became emotional after the announcement, especially those who were lucky enough to witness the sold-out concert live. At the same time, fans who missed out on tickets are already looking forward to finally experiencing the show on the big screen. As of writing, there's still no official release date.
But while waiting for the concert film announcement, this might actually be the perfect time to catch up on some of SB19's previous documentary projects. In 2024, the group released Pagtatag! The Documentary on Netflix, which gave fans a glimpse into the realities behind their Pagtatag! World Tour—from the exhausting schedules to the pressure, sacrifices, and emotional moments behind the scenes. Before that, they also dropped I Want You: The Making in 2023, a six-episode documentary series uploaded on their official YouTube channel that followed the creative process behind their music and performances.
The boys really seem to have a full-packed schedule. Just recently, SB19 released the official music video for "Emoji," their newest track that quickly gained attention online for its cinematic visuals.
And outside the upcoming concert film, the boys have also been incredibly busy dominating stages both locally and internationally. Earlier this May, the group also performed at the fifth Aurora Music Festival held on May 2 and 3, 2026, at Clark Global City in Pampanga. Thousands of fans gathered for the two-day music festival, proving once again just how massive SB19's crowd pull has become.
And the milestones keep getting bigger. On July 30, SB19 is officially set to perform at Lollapalooza, making history as the first Filipino act ever included in the lineup of the globally recognized music festival. Held annually in Chicago, Illinois, the event is known as one of the biggest music festivals in the world and has featured some of the biggest international artists across multiple genres through the years.
We're so proud of you, boys! 🥰
