Sofia Andres Explains That Viral Search For A Personal Assistant—And Why She Needs One For Real

In case you missed it (we hope you didn't tho), Sofia captured everyone's attention when she posted her qualifications for a personal assistant. She wrote, "Now hiring a Personal Assistant who can read my mind, organize my chaos, and remind me where I left my coffee (and my schedule)."

At first, people were baffled at how Sofia wanted an assistant who can "read her mind." Some online users have negatively reacted to Sofia's post, which the actress says was meant to be sarcastic.

Meanwhile, some people on the Internet matched Sofia's fun energy and actually submitted applications along with the wittiest (!) cover letters. We'll delve into that later on. But because we couldn't get over Sofia's post, we slid into her Instagram DMs and asked the story behind her viral PA post. Her first reaction to our message? Let's just say, we were both cackling at our conversation.

She said, "Hahahaha I can't! I didn't expect this to happen! Hilarious!" We pried a little more into Sofia's story, asking if she's really looking for a personal assistant, or if she just wanted to post something for laughs.

In all honesty, Sofia told Cosmo that she's really on the hunt for a personal assistant. But the qualifications she posted are definitely, totally, absolutely for fun. She admitted that she was curious about how people would react to it. "I'm actually looking for a PA and I just wanted to play around with how people will react with my sarcasm," she said.

So, we had to ask—what does she actually look for in a personal assistant? Sofia kept it simple: "Just pro-active and attentive at all times." At all times, meaning 24/7? Can be, LOL.

She confessed to being a forgetful person and even gave us a little teaser, saying, "I'm forgetful—like, really bad… and I'll be working again soon, so I really need a PA." An acting project, maybe? We'll probably find out soon enough!

One of those that she shared had the email subject that read, "Your PA/ka-chismisan (pina-plano mo pa lang nakawa ko na)" Sofia posted it on her IG Stories and commented, "I think pasok ka na sa next round!" with a string of laughing emojis.

And this might be our favorite quip from Sofia's applicants—the online applicant also said, "Mind readiny? Easy. Hindi problema 'yan, may third eye ako HAHAHAH emz" LOOOOL!
