Their friendship may have started in a star-studded barkada, but now, Solenn Heussaff and Anne Curtis are sisters-in-law who enjoy life, family, and parenting together like best friends.
In a guest appearance on Fast Talk with Boy Abunda aired on January 22, Solenn opened up about her relationship with Anne. When asked how they get along, Solenn said, "Very good. I'm actually very happy that they got married because we were friends before, part of the same barkada."
Despite being part of the same celebrity friend group, Solenn admitted that she and Anne weren't particularly close at first. "I was never really close to her kasi sa isang barkada na malaki, siyempre you'll be closer to one… me and [Georgina Wilson] are very close," she shared. Meanwhile, it was Isabelle Daza and Liz Uy, who were closer with each other. "[Anne and I] are always together in events, but I never had lunch with her, one-on-one."
It wasn't until Anne married Solenn's brother, Erwan Heussaff, in November 2017 that the two started spending more meaningful time together. "Of course, nag-pandemic din. We had our kids at the same time, two months apart. [That was when] we really got to know each other," Solenn recalled. Suddenly, they found themselves navigating parenthood side by side, sharing tips, milestones, and the everyday joys of watching their daughters grow up together.
"Now I see her at least three times a week. We're very close and very aligned with our values and the things we want in life," Solenn said.
Over the years, the sisters-in-law also did a creative collaboration in June 2021, launching Tili Dahli, a sustainable babywear brand inspired by their daughters, Thylane and Dahlia. Beyond business, they've shared countless family adventures—from trips to France and South Korea (and even trying out Hyrox workouts) to everyday moments with their husbands, Nico Bolzico and Erwan (a.k.a. the Bullied Husband Club), and their daughters.
Last December, Solenn and Anne reunited with their OG It Girls crew—including Georgina, Belle, Liz, Bea Soriano-Dee, and Martine Ho—for a holiday dinner, where Raymond Gutierrez "forced everyone to dress well." LOL!
We're always fans of when the It Girls get together—and ofc, when they show up on our feeds as fun and stylish as ever.
