ICYMI, Vicki Belo Just Rode The MRT For The First Time—And Honestly, We Get Why

EDSA is definitely every Filipino's nightmare during rush hour—to the point that it made Dr. Victoria "Vicki" Belo ride the Metro Rail Transit (MRT) for the first time!

Dr. Belo shared her experience together with her two assistants on social media. And the reason behind it? To make it to Morrisette's concert at Araneta Coliseum in Cubao.

"Something I've never done before: I'm going to ride the MRT," Dr. Belo shared. "I'm supposed to watch Morisette's concert and the traffic was so bad. And I'm gonna be so late!" she added.

In the video, Dr. Belo, along with her two assistants, walked the overpass to the MRT station, sharing that this was going to be her first time riding it, and it's all because of her love and support for the singer!

As a first timer, her assistants were teaching her how to buy a ticket and use it to tap into the train.

Stuck in the immovable traffic along EDSA, the assigned guard at the MRT joked: "MRT is faster compared to a Ferrari in Metro Manila."

"There's always a first time [for] everything. Grabe yung traffic tingnan mo, di gumagalaw," Dr. Belo added, pointing to all the cars seemingly stalled along the highway.

According to Dr. Belo, the experience was worth it! In the end, she was able to make it to Morrisette's concert on time and enjoy it without missing the fun.
