Blackbird at The Nielson Tower

The food by Chef Niño Laus is, as their name suggests, a fusion of Japanese and French techniques but all comforting and hearty like the Braised Short Ribs, slow-cooked and perfect with a glass of wine, and the Raspberry Salad, fresh and bright with a raspberry truffle vinaigrette, parma ham, and goat cheese. Ninyo also regularly offers themed tasting menus for special occasions like Valentine's Day.
Cafe Ysabel

Though they have moved from their old location, Cafe Ysabel is still a San Juan gem. One of Metro Manila's oldest restaurants—almost 44 years now!—Cafe Ysabel and their Old-World interiors have seen many proposals, Valentine's Day, and anniversary dates.

Elbert's Steak Room

Having been around since 2007, this self-proclaimed "steakeasy" or a combination steakhouse and speakeasy knows their way around beef, sourced from the U.S. and wet-aged for 15 days for maximum flavor. The vibes here are elegant yet still homey with dark and broody interiors accented by plush red chairs and framed contemporary art.
The menu is straightforward: you can choose from different USDA steaks available in solo and sharing plates, and can they all come with your choice of one classic steakhouse side like creamed spinach or truffled mashed potato. Optional sauces are available, too, but you won't need them. ;)
