We can already feel the summer heat—and the itch to cancel plans, pack a bag, and escape somewhere with a cooler breeze. Luckily, summer seems to have arrived right on cue, along with a new destination to add to your group chat itineraries.

Just in time for the season, Gerald Anderson has officially opened Trivera River Resort, his newest resort tucked away in Cabangan, Zambales—and it's exactly the kind of place you go to when you want to unplug for a bit.

It also marks his second venture in Zambales, following the earlier launch of Hayati Private Resort in Botolan back in 2020, which quickly became known for its beachfront sunsets and laid-back setup. It has a pool overlooking the sea, cabanas for lounging, and open spaces like a kubo, A-frame houses, and even a glass house. Guests can also make the most of their stay with activities like billiards, basketball, biking, and kayaking, or simply wind down at the tiki bar, open-air gym, and shared dining areas.

This time around, Trivera offers a different kind of setting but with the same comfort. From what we've seen so far, instead of a seaside backdrop, the property is surrounded by a meadow and mountain views.

The space features Bali-inspired pavilions and signature triangular A-frame cabins surrounded by greenery for a low-key luxe feel. At the center of it all is a long, turquoise pool framed by natural stone, positioned to face the mountains. There's also an easy access to the nearby river if you feel like switching things up from the pool.

Around it are lounge areas, and an uncovered dining area becomes its own highlight. A long glass-top table sits out in the open, with a full view of the surroundings. There's even a bonfire area for when the night stretches a little longer, along with a billiard table and a few board games if your group feels like keeping things going.

The amenities include a full kitchen setup, grilling area, and cooking essentials. Inside the air-conditioned cabins, the living area is designed for easy downtime, with a cushioned sofa that makes it feel immediately livable if you're just feeling like hanging out indoors. As a guest, you'll get a free WiFi access and the TV is complete with a YouTube and Netflix subscription.

As seen in the photos, the bedroom is spacious enough for a family vacay or a barkada hangout. One of the rooms features three single beds, each set up with pillows and clean linens.

The resort has available parking and is covered by CCTV for your safety. And guess what? You can bring your furbabies along! Just keep in mind that an extra cleaning fee may apply.

If you've been following Gerald lately, you probably saw this coming. He's been soft-launching the space since Holy Week, giving followers a glimpse of what a stay there actually feels like.

On April 3, he posted a photo of himself relaxing by the pool in a simple sleeveless top and shorts, captioned, "Good Friday…Holiday Vacation."

He followed it up with a short clip of himself watering the plants while capturing the property's open space and signature pool.

By Easter Sunday, he finally gave it its well-deserved hard launch. He posted scenes of his slow days in Zambales, from walking his doggos to pausing for the surreal nature view.

And in the days after, he pretty much summed up the whole experience in one word: payapa.
