Kylie Verzosa Is Engaged To Emil Eriksen—And She's Officially In Her Fiancée Era

Three years proved to be more than enough for Kylie Verzosa and her non-showbiz boyfriend, Emil Eriksen, to realize they were ready to take their relationship to the long term. Just in time for her 33rd birthday, the actress and former beauty queen shared an important PSA: she and Emil are officially engaged! 

"YES A MILLION TIMES OVER," Kylie wrote on social media, posting a photo of her hand adorned with an oval diamond engagement ring.

"I learned that love is not a whirlwind but a steady calmness, growth and unwavering support, 3 years with you have been absolutely the best ily," she added.

The announcement featured photos and videos of the couple in Côte d'Azur, France, capturing their intimate moments following the engagement. In a now-expired Instagram Story, Kylie shared a selfie of him kissing her cheek as she showed off her ring. The top caption read, "It was the best hike ever!!" with a smaller note underneath: "(I did not like the hike)," implying that the proposal was what really made it the best.

Celebrities and friends were quick to celebrate the milestone. Heart Evangelista, Megan Young, and Miss Universe Thailand 2023 Anntonia Porsild congratulated the actress.

Kim Atienza, Iza Calzado, Tim Yap, and Bela Padilla also sent their warm wishes.

Kylie has always been open about her relationship with Emil, even as she and her partner chose to keep things low-key and away from the spotlight. In 2023, the actress confirmed that she was dating someone who is "not a Filipino," but it was only the following year that she officially hard launched her boyfriend on social media during her trip to France.

"Honestly, it is so much better and so much peaceful. Walang pressure. I don't feel the need for the public to see the relationship. Mas na-appreciate ko ganito lagay," Kylie shared in a 2024 interview with ABS-CBN.

Since then, Kylie has occasionally shared glimpses of their relationship through subtle posts capturing their moments together. She has also spoken about how Emil has been her number one supporter, especially when she launched her brand, SOLA.
