Footwear brand VIVAIA landed in the Philippines last January with a pop-up store, attracting interest and long lines courtesy of people on the hunt for comfy shoes. While we know the pop-up satisfied your shopaholic tendencies and gave you the chance to try on the pairs after months of seeing them online, nothing beats an actual outpost with more styles and space. If you still haven't gotten a pair or you're looking to add more to your collection, you'll be happy to know VIVAIA finally opened its first permanent store in the Metro.

Here's what to expect at the VIVAIA Philippines permanent store

After a few months in Powerplant Mall and a short stint at Shangri-La Mall, VIVAIA finally settles down in SM Megamall this summer. The brand's best-selling styles are available at the permanent store, including the Square-Toed Margot Mary Jane Flats, Almond Toe Tamia Ballet Flats, and Pointed-Toe Addison Slingback Heels, along with an online fan-favorite many have been waiting for: the boots.

The brand's Mary Janes and strapped ballet flats—regardless of toe shape—come with a buckle and an adjustable band so you can get the right fit for each foot, and slip into and out of the pair without much thought or effort. All of the brand's pairs have an elastic quality, they'll stretch to hug your foot, regardless of toe shape, silhouette, or heel height.
Apart from the flats, there are also pairs in different styles that offer height advantage. There's the Addison Slingback, the best-selling heeled sister of the Margot Mary Janes, and the Sally Pro (P6,839), an espadrille wedge that screams summer vacations and trips abroad. The Kara (P8,559) sandals are also not to be missed, with their thick, bandage upper and thick, platform soles.

Boots have been missing from the VIVAIA pop-up shelves, but have since taken up space in their own corner in the permanent store. The Ryan Slip-On boots (P11,439) have a pointed toe and end just at the ankle, making for a chic and versatile pair that will instantly elevate your OOTDs. Bold and edgy, the Regina Pro (P12,589) boots go up mid-calf, have a pointed toe, and feature avant-garde triangular block heels that are sure to turn heads. If you're feeling extra, the red and black iteration of the Regina Pro definitely makes a statement.

We also spotted the Cristina satin sneaker flats in black and white sitting among the brand's sportier footwear like sneakers, slip-ons, and sport flats.

It might not be obvious from our photos since there were a lot of shoe fiends raring to get their hands (and feet!) on a pair or two, but there're more seating and space to try on pairs, along with several full-length body mirrors for customers to see how the shoes look when worn. There's a couch, too, so you can definitely compare notes with your besties to see which pairs suit you best.

VIVAIA opening weekend promos
To celebrate the grand opening, there will be special prizes and promos during Mother's Day weekend. From May 9 to 11, customers can spine the wheel and score a free gift when they buy a pair of shoes. Purchase three or more pairs and you'll be entitled to a free Mother's Day bouquet. Limited bouquets are available per day and will be granted on a first-come, first-served basis. Best to be early!

How to visit the VIVAIA Philippines pop-up
The VIVAIA Philippines store is located at Level 3 in Building B of SM Megamall and will be there for good. We got to go on opening day and if the crowds and excitement were anything to go by, you'll have to drop by ASAP to secure your preferred style, and our fingers are crossed they still have your size. Unlike the previous pop-ups, there seems to be more stock available.
We also spotted a VIVAIA pop-up in Glorietta, and heard whispers of a third branch possibly opening in SM Mall of Asia. As always, we'll update you ASAP once more details are available!
