4.1. Round 1:
The submission of entries shall run from
September 3, 2026 at 9:00 AM until September 16, 2026 at 11:59 PM.Microsite Link:
Cosmo Sunsilk Cover Girl SearchVoting shall begin on
September 17, 2026 at 9:00 AM and shall end on September 30, 2026 at 11:59 PM. The public may vote by tapping the designated voting button found on each entry page. Only one (1) vote per browser per day shall be allowed. All votes shall be subject to validation. Fraudulent, automated, or suspicious votes shall be disqualified with concurrence of DTI.
Application & Qualifiers:
- Participants shall create one (1) original vertical video with a minimum duration of twenty (20) seconds and a maximum duration of sixty (60) seconds.
- The video must demonstrate how Sunsilk gives participants smooth, fragrant, silky-looking hair by completing one (1) of the following Hair Tests.
OPTION 1 – Silk Tie Test
Using any ribbon or silk tie, place it around the hair and gently pull it downward to demonstrate smooth, tangle-free hair. Any ribbon or tie may be used.
OPTION 2 – Silk Scrunchie Test
Using any hair scrunchie, demonstrate how smoothly it glides through the hair. Any scrunchie or hair tie may be used.
- After completing the chosen Hair Test, participants must feature any Sunsilk product within the same video by holding, showing, or naturally using the product while highlighting one or more of its benefits, including:
- Smooth hair (pink)
- Manageable hair (pink)
- With amino-silk complex (pink)
- Strong hair (green)
- Helps protect from breakage (green)
- With biotin-strong complex (green)
- Silky hair (blue)
- With dandruff protection (blue)
- With nia-nourish complex (blue)
- Long-lasting fragrance (pink/ green/ blue)
The Sunsilk product must be clearly visible in the submitted video. - Post the video separately on personal social media (Instagram or TikTok), accompanied by the unified caption below:

- Entries must be submitted only once per person. In case of multiple entries per person, only their first entry will be valid.
- Participants joining as individuals may not simultaneously join another group entry.
- Group members may only belong to one (1) official Group entry.
Criteria for Judging and Winner Selection
After the voting period closes on September 30, 2026 at 11:59 PM, all entries shall be collected and validated. On October 5, 2026 at 2:00 PM, Sunsilk's Brand Representative, Cosmo's Editorial Representative, and a DTI representative will review and finalize based on the following criteria:
INDIVIDUAL CATEGORY
Silky Hair Appearance: 30%- Evaluates how effectively the participant demonstrates visibly smooth, silky, healthy-looking, and manageable hair through the chosen Hair Test, whether the Silk Tie Test or Silk Scrunchie Test.
Sunsilk Product Integration & Benefit Demonstration: 25%- Evaluates how naturally and effectively the participant features a Sunsilk product after completing the chosen Hair Test and demonstrates relevant product benefits, including smooth-looking hair, silky hair movement, healthy shine, and fresh, long-lasting fragrance.
Confidence & Personality: 20%- Evaluates the participant's confidence, charisma, and ability to express their unique personality on camera.
Cosmo Girl DNA: 15%- Assesses the participant's alignment with Cosmopolitan's brand persona of being fun, fearless, and forward-thinking, as demonstrated through their overall presentation and self-expression.
Taps of Approval (online votes): 10%- This criterion reflects the number of valid votes ("taps") each entry received on the microsite for the duration of Round 1.
*If there are five (5) or less that submitted valid entries, they will be automatically moving onto the next round.
GROUP CATEGORY
Silky Hair Appearance: 30%- Evaluates how effectively the group demonstrates visibly smooth, silky, healthy-looking, and manageable hair through the chosen Hair Test, whether the Silk Tie Test or Silk Scrunchie Test.
Sunsilk Product Integration & Benefit Demonstration: 25%- Evaluates how naturally and effectively the group features Sunsilk products after completing the chosen Hair Test and highlights relevant product benefits, including smooth-looking hair, silky hair movement, healthy shine, and fresh, long-lasting fragrance.
Synchronization, Confidence & Performance: 20%- Evaluates the group's coordination, confidence, presence, and ability to deliver a cohesive and engaging performance while allowing each member's personality to come through.
Cosmo Girl DNA: 15%- Assesses the group's alignment with Cosmopolitan's brand persona of being fun, fearless, and forward-thinking.
Taps of Approval (online votes): 10%- Reflects the number of valid votes ("taps") each entry receives on the official microsite during the Round 1 voting period.
*If there are five (5) or less that submitted valid entries, they will be automatically moving onto the next round.

Notification
- Finalists will be announced on the microsite and Cosmo.ph's official social channels on October 6, 2026 at 5:00 PM.
- The winners will be notified via direct message on their social media accounts (Instagram/TikTok), email and SMS.
- They must respond within seven (7) calendar days to confirm participation to proceed to the next round. Failure to respond will result in disqualification, and the slot will be given to the next qualified contestant with concurrence of DTI.
- Summit Media reserves the right to verify the eligibility of the winning entries, subject to validation with concurrence of DTI.
4.2. Round 2:
The five (5) individual and five (5) group finalists shall participate in the Round 2 challenge from
October 7 – October 21, 2026 at 11:59 PM.
Each finalist shall receive a Sunsilk Challenge Kit and the official Round 2 creative brief.
Participants shall create a new original video that demonstrates how they bring their campus star moment to life within their campus communities. Activities may include:
- Dance sessions
- Organization collaborations
- Mini performances
- Campus activations
- Confidence activities
- Creative content shoots
- School-based movement activities
Participants shall upload their new Round 2 video submission on the official microsite. Voting shall reset to zero.
Each of the five (5) individual and five (5) group finalists' video output from Campus In Motion will be posted on the microsite on October 22, 2026 at 9:00 AM, and voting will end on November 5, 2026 at 11:59 PM. The people can vote by tapping on the 'heart' at the bottom left of the entry. Only one (1) vote per browser per day is allowed. All votes will be subject to validation, and fraudulent/automated votes will be disqualified with concurrence of DTI.
Criteria for Judging and Winner Selection

On November 10 at 2:00 PM, Sunsilk's Experience Lead, Cosmo's Executive Editor, and a DTI representative will review and finalize the final one (1) Individual and one (1) group winner to be the official Cosmo on Campus cover girls based on the following criteria:

Campus Star Challenge Execution: 30%- Evaluates how effectively the finalist brings the Campus Star concept to life through their Round 2 output, demonstrating confidence, personality, movement, and authentic campus relevance.
Silky Hair Appearance & Sunsilk Product Integration: 30%- Evaluates the finalist's ability to showcase visibly smooth, silky, healthy-looking and manageable hair while naturally featuring a Sunsilk product and communicating relevant product benefits such as smooth-looking hair, silky hair movement, healthy shine, and fresh, long-lasting fragrance.
Confidence & Personality: 15%- Evaluates the finalist's confidence, charisma, authenticity, and ability to stand out as a Campus Star.
School & Community Relevance: 15%- Evaluates how effectively the finalist incorporates their campus, school community, student experience, or relevant campus culture into the content.
Taps of Approval (Online Votes): 10%- Reflects the number of valid votes ("taps") each finalist receives on the official microsite during the Round 2 voting period.
GROUP CATEGORY
Campus Star Challenge Execution: 25%- Evaluates how effectively the group brings the Campus Star concept to life through a cohesive, engaging, and relevant campus-based output.
Silky Hair Appearance & Sunsilk Product Integration: 25%- Evaluates the group's ability to demonstrate visibly smooth, silky, healthy-looking and manageable hair while naturally featuring Sunsilk products and highlighting relevant product benefits.
Synchronization, Confidence & Performance: 20%- Evaluates the group's coordination, confidence, energy, presence, and overall execution.
School Spirit & Community Integration: 20%- Evaluates how effectively the group represents its school, organization, campus community, or inter-organization collaboration in the Round 2 output.
Taps of Approval (Online Votes): 10%- Reflects the number of valid votes ("taps") each finalist receives on the official microsite during the Round 2 voting period.
