It was just in February that cult-fave local beauty and skincare brand Happy Skin ventured into hair care through two variants of fragrant shampoo and conditioner. The hair care line was created in Japan and formulated to cater to the needs of Filipino hair. And speaking of hair care, you can treat your tresses to a pamper session inside Happy Skin—specifically at their flagship boutique in SM Aura—because they just launched their first-ever hair spa there.

Happy Skin is taking their hair care game to the next level by introducing Happy Skin Hair Spa in one of their branches in the Metro. Tucked inside their newly revamped space on the second floor of SM Aura, the space is made for utmost relaxation and care for you and your hair. Of course, featuring their two shampoo and conditioner variants: the Happy Skin Hair Volume & Bouncy and Happy Skin Soft & Straight, which you can immediately purchase in the store if you liked it during the relaxing session.

There's a space dedicated for hair care and relaxation at Happy Skin's SM Aura boutique.

It's a quaint space, but it's exactly what makes it so personal, intimate, and cozy as you go through a scalp analysis (before and after the session) and a 12-step, Japanese-inspired hair spa. You'll be able to find out what your hair needs and requires, and which of the Happy Skin variants best suits your crowning glory. And oh, did we mention that it's free? That is, with a minimum-spend purchase (which is easy inside a Happy Skin store).

But first, the experience. The 12-step hair spa starts with a quick scalp analysis. After figuring out your hair's situation and needs, you'll go over to the chair for expert shampooing and conditioning. You'll also get soothing scalp massages during the session. To end the treatment, your neck and shoulders will be treated to a relaxing massage, then to a post-treatment scalp analysis for visitors to see the before and after effects.

As long as you spend (or have spent, starting June 1, 2025) P5,000 and present the receipt in the SM Aura boutique, you can avail of the service. Do take note that while purchases from all Happy Skin boutiques are honored, purchases must include the Happy Skin Hair line. If your purchases meet the requirements, you can go ahead and book your much-deserved hair spa day.
