Gone are the days when we can just drop by a store to get our makeup fix. As we cope with the "new normal," it’s still best to avoid crowded places like malls—the makeup shopping experience we all love is no longer the same.

This is why it pays to have multipurpose products on hand, especially when you have a super important video meeting or you just want to look ~fresh lang~ while working from home. And while much has been said about tints and lippies, let’s not overlook the possibilities that come with your eyeshadow palette. From contour to eyeliner, here are some ways you can get the most out of a good palette.

1. Blush

You can easily repurpose peach or pink eyeshadow as blush. Most eyeshadows, however, are more pigmented than blushes. Go in with a light hand!

2. Highlighter

Light, shimmery eyeshadow can double as a highlighter. Pick a color that’s two shades lighter than your natural skin tone. Dust it over the high points of your face, including your cheekbones, brow bones, the bridge of your nose, and chin.

3. Brow powder

Give your brows a boost with the dark brown shades in your palette. Fill in your arches using a stiff, angled brush with a shade that’s slightly lighter than your brows. You can also mix eyeshadow with petroleum jelly to make a DIY brow pomade.

4. Eyeliner

Did you know that you could turn any eyeshadow into an eyeliner? Here’s how: Spritz some setting spray onto an eyeliner brush, dip it in the shadow of your choice, and apply as close to the outer lash line as possible. Pulled an all-nighter? Look wide-awake by lining the inner corners of your eyes with a champagne shade.

5. Bronzer

Bring out that summery tan! Pick a shimmery brown shade and buff it in with a large fluffy brush, blending the color along your cheekbones, temples, and forehead.

Makeup doesn’t have to have rules. A product like the EB Advance Rich Eyeshadow Palette can be used in different ways. With 15 highly pigmented shades, this palette can create hundreds of killer looks, but it can also be used to prettify other parts of your face.
