Hearing the word Glossier makes any beauty girl gush with longing, wishing that this millennial brand can finally hit the Philippine market or, at least, be open to international shipping within Asia.

And because it’s quite an inconvenience to go through a complicated buying process (resellers can jack up the prices and balikbayan relatives don’t often come home!), we decided to find the dupes of their Cloud Paint Seamless Blush in Haze and Beam.

Haze grants a cool-toned berry flush, like you’ve just pinched your cheeks, and its shade can work for all skin tones. If you’re into oranges and warm hues, you’ll love Beam, a salmon blush, and it is best on fair to medium skin tones. Both have a gel-cream consistency and come in cute, acrylic paint-like tubes, and retail for $18 (P962) each, shipping not included.

Haze

The Body Shop Fresh Sorbet Blush in Tuscan Grape

Price: P450

ADVERTISMENT - CONTINUE READING BELOW ↓

Where to buy: SM Megamall

What is it: A hydrating blush with a whipped texture.

Why it works: It’s not as deep-hued as Glossier’s Haze, but the warm, rosy shade brings out the golden undertones of morena skin.

Clio Pro Dual Controbing Blusher in Bronzer Rose

Price: P1,190

Where to buy: Trinoma

What is it: A dual-ended stick with a blush and matte bronzer on each sides.

Why it works: It's more warm-toned than Haze because of the micro-golden shimmer that gives your cheeks a dewy finish. You can use the matte bronzer to softly sculpt as well.

Colourette ColourTint Intense Blend Lip And Cheek Oil in Thalia

Price: P249

Where to buy: www.colourettecosmetics.com

What is it: A deep berry lip and cheek oil that's pigmented AF.

Why it works: Although it’s not really a cream blush, this is hands down, the closest dupe. The color payoff of Thalia resembles the red-violet shade of Glossier’s Haze.

Beam

The Body Shop Fresh Sorbet Blush in Florida Sunstar

Price: P450

Where to buy: SM Megamall

What is it: A featherweight, hydrating cream blush that feels like frosting on the skin.

Why it works: It’s more coral than Beam, but it’s still a good contender! Its whipped texture provides a bit of dew and hydration.

Clio Pro Dual Controbing Blusher in Warm Coral

Price: P1,190

Where to buy: Trinoma

What is it: It comes with two shades of peach blushes: a light shade for strobing, and a medium shade for the cheeks.

Why it works: We were surprised to see that its color payoff is close to the Glossier Cloud Paint in Beam. Plusit has two variations of coral blushes, so you can blend them to create YOUR perfect milky-orange hue.

Colourette ColourTint Intense Blend Lip And Cheek Oil in Dione

Price: P249

Where to buy: www.colourettecosmetics.com

What is it: A tangerine lip and cheek tint.

Why it works: You only need a tiny dot of the orange tint to cover a whole cheek. Use sparingly if you want to reach Beam’s peachy hue.
