In anticipation for the Star Magic Ball this Saturday, (we're dying to know what look she'll be doing!) we're doing a little beauty throwback by looking back on how much Kathryn Bernardo has transformed from fresh-faced teen to beautiful #queen!
At just 16 years old, Kathryn was already beginning to develop her signature look of thick eyebrows, lined eyes, neutral lips, and long, flowing hair.
Being a teenager, she took beauty risks to express herself. In the photo below, she can be seen with a full set of bangs and thick eyeliner that reminded us of Japanese girls.
While in this one, she showed off her red hair, which was hidden underneath her beautiful raven-colored locks. Such a rebel!
The Girl Next Door
Following her "rebellious" phase, she switched up her look to something more feminine and sweet: Kath wore big, romantic curls which softly complemented her features. She completed her look with pink lips and ~*floral*~ accessories.
All Glammed Up
After turning 18, Kathryn decided to give her new look a more grown-up touch.
Kathryn cut her hair into a lob and went for a more sophisticated makeup look: bright eyes and bold lips.
She even tried the ombré trend by dyeing the tips of her hair blonde.
East Meets West
Kathryn knew how to mix Korean and Western beauty trends with her features. See how her straight brows and gradient lips were paired with a sharp AF winged liner?
Less Is More
She toned down her eye makeup and just wore tint on her cheeks and pout to look super fresh!
Kathryn was all about a tan complexion and summer-inspired curls for a while! She wore it with smokey eyes and a nude lip, which emphasized her locks' highlights.
But when she wore it au naturel, it still gave her features a fun, effortless vibe.
Modern And Classy
Now, Kathryn has been able to combine all her favorite beauty trends and wear them at the same time: Bronzed glowing skin, flushed cheeks, ombré lips, straight (and bushy) kilay, and youthful hairstyles.
What do you think her look will be at this year's ball?
