The Sneaky Zit Culprit You've Probably Never Heard Of

And you probably use it everyday, too!

How often do you wash the sponge in your powder compact? Hmm, probably never, right?

Well, here’s the problem: all the oil, sweat, and dirt from your face and fingertips are on your sponge right now and it’s also contaminating your powder with every dip. This means that whenever you swipe your sponge over your face, you’re also swiping on pimple-causing bacteria that can lead to clogged pores and breakouts. Yikes!

To help prevent unwanted zits, the solution is easy: wash your hands before you use your sponge and clean your sponge at least once a week. All you need to do is rinse it under running water with your facial wash, and once all the pigment is gone, let it dry completely before putting it back in your compact.
