Here, news you missed while you were sleeping.

1 Model Deniece Cornejo has finally released a statement on Vhong Navarro's mauling incident. The 22-year-old sent a text message to GMA-7, saying, "If you want justice, I will give you real justice. In the field of women's rights, the right will always be right. Mataas ang paghanga ko sa mga lalaki na marunong rumespeto at ipagtanggol ang mga kababaihan. Kung may biktima at inosente dito wala nang iba kung hindi ako." Strong words, eh? (PEP.ph)

Okay, this sounds pretty unreal, but Robert de Niro is in Manila! The Academy Award winning actor was in town as a guest of honor for the opening of Nobu Hotel and City of Dreams, which is "a casino, hotel, retail, and entertainment resort" in the Manila Bay area. (Spot.ph)

Japanese lingerie retailer Ravijour just released a new bra technology dubbed as the "true love tester." The bra, which has a clasp in front, can only be unhooked when the girl is with the man she loves. So how does that work? The bra has a built-in sensor which measures the girl's heart rate, and if that exceeds the value specified by the sensor, it automatically unhooks! Check out how it works below! (GMA Network)
