"I looked at you and immediately wanted to hug you because you reminded me of my mom who I just lost in 2001," she wrote. They ended up working together in teleseryes like Te Amo, Maging Sino Ka Man, and Kahit Puso'y Masugatan.

"You treated me like a daughter and I looked up to you as a mentor and mother. Jane Guck or Nanay Jane I would fondly call you. Our shared love for tequila and rockstars made us click. You were both generous and kind with your words of encouragement and support be it on or off cam. You were also very stern when you needed to be. That’s one of the best things about you — napakatotoo mo," she continued.

Iza then recalled the last time she saw the veteran actress and expressed remorse for not hugging her a little *tighter* had she known what would happen. She also extended her sympathies to Jaclyn's family, particularly Andi, whom she called "baby girl."
