In case you're wondering where Angelica Panganiban was on the night of the ABS-CBN Ball 2023, well she was actually having a fun bonding moment with one of her friends in the industry, Judy Ann Santos.
Many were curious why Angelica was not part of the red carpet livestream and if she was still in Australia for their family trip. It turned out that she went straight to the ball proper.
Angelica took a night off from her mommy duties with baby Amila Sabine and donned a black, off-shoulder, satin gown made by Jaz Cerezo.
Angelica posted her gorgeous photos with the caption, "Definitely a fun night. will be forever grateful. #abscbnballisback."
On Instagram, Dr. Aivee Teo uploaded clips of the cutest interaction between Judy Ann and Angelica. The two were seen hugging each other as if it was their first time meeting for a long time. Angelica and Judy Ann both wore black gowns with different necklines. Both looked gorgeous!
They also posed for some snaps at the Aivee Clinic photo booth—and their photos are so cute and fun. Their interaction made Dr. Aivee laugh, too!
Despite not having ongoing projects or upcoming projects with ABS-CBN, Judy Ann and Angelica have always been hailed as the ultimate leading ladies of the network.
Both actresses are currently enjoying their time as a hands-on mom to their respective kids. Just this May 2023, Angelica visited the ABS-CBN building and met its executives together with her daughter, Baby Bean.
Angelica then thanked ABS-CBN executives for giving her all the time to cherish her favorite role ever, which is being a mother.
"Naging emotional ako ng konti. Namiss ko ang tahanan ko. Namiss ko ang mga kapamilya ko. Pero malaking pasasalamat at hinahayaan muna nila ko mag enjoy sa pagiging nanay ko ngayon," the actress expressed in her Instagram post.

Meanwhile, Judy Ann felt nostalgic about their attendance at the fundraising event.
She posted a throwback photo of her and her husband Ryan Agoncillo all glammed up for the previous ABS-CBN Ball together with their kids, Yohan, Lucho, and Luna. The caption said, "5 years later... *heart emoji*"
The ABS-CBN Ball was last held in 2019 and was later postponed due to the pandemic. This year with the tagline, "Forever Grateful," its brightest and rising stars gathered to raise funds for the benefit of the ABS-CBN Foundation.
