Ariana Grande began tweeting out a series of cryptic hints about something she was "excited for" in "the nearby future." But what does any of that mean?
She began with a message about being positive and embracing the present but being "really effing excited" about the "near future."
babies i'm so excited for the nearby future... (also embracing and loving the present)... but I'm really effing excited for the near future.— Ariana Grande (@ArianaGrande) September 2, 2015
OK, hmm ... but when exactly is the nearby future?
personally...... I consider October "nearby future" 👼👼👼👼👼👼👼👼👼👼👼😈😈😈😈😈😈— Ariana Grande (@ArianaGrande) September 2, 2015
"Personally...... I consider October 'nearby future,'" she tweeted. Let all your Google calendars reflect that "October" is officially the month of the "nearby future."
As fans pressed her, she promised there was indeed something very big coming in October.
I am not teasing!!! I promised y'all I would always tell you as much as I could as soon as I could 👼☕️ only cause I love you like I do ☕️💜😇🌙— Ariana Grande (@ArianaGrande) September 2, 2015
"I am not teasing!!! I promised y'all I would always tell you as much as I could as soon as I could only cause I love you like I do," she said. She even had to delete a tweet because it possibly gave away too much information.
she deleted this tweet 🌚, cant wait for the 🌙 festivities to begin in October pic.twitter.com/jPthKsuBky— lil kitty (@AriCutestDimple) September 2, 2015
"The🌙 festivities begin in October...now enough tea!!!" she tweeted. So far, she hasn't said what her tweets are about (although there are some very good guesses from fans). The tweet could reference her new album Moonlight but she said back in June that was "forever away," meaning it wouldn't come out anytime soon? (And does "forever away" mean "five months" in Ariana-calendar speak?) "Moonlight" is also the name of a song on the upcoming album, so maybe she means a single?
One thing is for sure, Ariana is really, really into the whole "moonlight" thing right now. So it's either a song or an album, or she's flying to the moon to open a tea shop that serves cups of neon sparkle dust.Whatever the case, I'm sure her fans will love it.
