1 May the force with you! It has been reported that Disney will be building a Star Wars theme park in 2015. FYI, Disney purchased Lucasfilms in 2012 and will release the next movie in the franchise, Star Wars: Episode VII, in December 2015. Exciting! (laist.com)

2 Government workers are protesting the imposition of taxes on bonuses, allowances, and civil service benefits by the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR). The protesters wore red and trooped in front of the Supreme Court to question the legality of Revenue Memorandum Order 23-2014, and are asking for a temporary restraining order against its implementation. 3 Cedric Lee and co-accused Zimmer Raz have been transferred from the detention center at the National Bureau of Investigation to Taguig City Jail. Both men will be kept in separate isolated cells for a week or more before being transferred to a regular cell with other inmates. Deniece Cornejo is expected to move to the same camp soon. (PEP.ph)

4 The NBI has arrested a mother in Taguig who was using her own children, a girl and a boy aged 10 and 7 respectively, to run a cybersex business. The children were rescued during a raid on the family’s house, where the 10-year-old girl was in the middle of performing for a client. The mother explained she did it to pay the bills and that her children "volunteered" to do it. Yikes! (Inquirer.net)
