Barbie Imperial is finally breaking her silence about the alleged physical altercation that happened between her and boyfriend Diego Loyzaga.
ICYDK, Barbie and Diego have been the subject of a blind item posted by Christian Albert Gaza on November 18. The Facebook post mentioned a celebrity couple who allegedly had a verbal fight at a hotel in Tagaytay. In a separate post, he named Barbie and Diego as the couple and suggested that the fight might have turned physical.
Diego's Instagram post further fueled the speculations after some netizens shared they noticed a wound on Diego and bruises on Barbie.
In an interview with PUSH, Barbie denied the rumors and explained that Diego got his hand injury while working out at a gym, saying, "Ang daming may alam kung ano yung nangyari sa kamay ni Diego kasi may mga tao sa gym. Even si kuya Joe Vargas, yung part-owner ni Gerald Anderson sa Th3rd Floor, alam nila kung ano nangyari kay Diego."
"Parang ang labo na ipapag-connect mo lang yung photos tapos may ganito lang sa hand, may pasa. Bakit hindi ba ako pwedeng magkapasa sa ibang bagay? Bakit parang yung boyfriend ko na sobrang mabuti, sobrang bait, sobrang tini-treat ako nang maayos, bakit siya yung paghihinalaan na ginawa niya 'yon sa akin?," she added.
Although she didn't mention any names, Barbie called out the person who first posted the rumor and said, "Nakita ko na sobrang kawawa nung tao na ‘yon na naninira sa amin kasi ganun pala ‘yung nangyayari kapag sobrang lungkot mo sa buhay mo. Parang magta-try kang manira ng relasyon ng iba para maging masaya ka. Sorry, pero hindi ka nakakatawa. Nakakaawa ka."
Barbie and Diego publicly revealed they were dating in January.
