Bianca De Vera Speaks Out On Dustin Yu Being Tagged As 'Passive-Aggressive' And 'Manipulative'

There's a lot to unpack from the latest season of Pinoy Big Brother. We saw new friendships form, unexpected personalities shine, and yup—love teams pop up left and right throughout the szn. But truthfully, not all of them were instant crowd favorites. Some drew cheers, others? Side-eyes.
It was the case for the budding love team, Bianca De Vera and Dustin Yu, a.k.a. DusBi. The two were the last celebrity duo evictees, who didn't make it to the Big Four roster of this season. Bianca and Dustin met inside the PBB house and had the chance to get to know each other.
However, after facing a few challenges on the reality show—and a really heated argument that involved Dustin and Klarisse De Guzman that went viral—viewers were divided in their perception of the pairing, especially when it came to Dustin.
So, in their joint interview on Fast Talk with Boy Abunda, Bianca calmly responded to people's judgment against Dustin. Some PBB fans tagged Dustin as someone who's "passive-aggressive" and "manipulative" after witnessing his actions towards Bianca in the show.
"Hindi ko po kasi talaga nakita Tito Boy," Bianca said in the interview, emphasizing that she didn't see any "red flag" signs of Dustin being bad for her.
She continued, "Ako po naniniwala po ako na matalino po akong tao, and if I did see those signs kay Dustin, I would've strayed myself away from him as soon as I can. Pero wala naman po akong nakitang signs sa kanya."
Bianca firmly declared that her connection with Dustin won't be affected by other people's comments. "If anything, he really took care of me, and he was really consistent from day 1. So hindi ko po maintindihan kung saan po nanggagaling yung ibang tao when they say that," she says. "It doesn't matter whatever they say because they're not in my body, and they don't see him through my eyes. So hindi po ako naapektuhan."

Dustin's making a case for himself as well. "Nung narinig ko 'yun nung paglabas, honestly, nagulat din po ako," he shares candidly. "Pero nag-reflect din po ako. Feeling ko, isa po yun sa pinaka-importanteng reflection na nangyari sa buhay ko."
As much as he acknowledges that he can't please everybody, Dustin expressed his desire to remain true to himself. "Siguro, personally, ganun lang talaga akong tao—very firm sa mga gusto kong sabihin, very serious sa mga seryosong situations. As much as I'm willing to listen, gusto ko rin sanang mapakinggan," he said.
Dustin and Bianca were together for about four months inside the PBB house. In those months, the two garnered thousands of fans who sent support for them through the voting part of the reality show. Now that they're in the outside world, and PBB's (probably) weeks away from its Big Night, the Internet will be waiting for any upcoming projects for Dustin and Bianca for sure.
