On August 22, 2018, BTS dropped a 41-second music video teaser for their new track "Idol" from the much anticipated repackaged album Love Yourself: Answer.
Today, August 24, the wait is finally over! Here is the full music video for BTS' "Idol"!
The teaser made a lot of noise on the Internet: ARMY speculated that this music video is their response to those who criticized them for "being too Western". Throughout the video, we see the guys in traditional Korean clothes; in the background, they've incorporated Korean instrumentals into the track. (Yes, they did THAT.)
