It’s going to be eight years this November since Twilight first hit cinemas, forever changing the way we all felt about vampires, werewolves, and stalker behavior couched as true love. And while there are no new movies on the horizon, you will soon be able to bid on a piece of the film franchise to call your own.
Prop Store and Summit Entertainment are holding a two-day auction of original props, costumes, and set decorations used in the movies, during which more than 900 items will be sold. You can own Bella’s "Newborn Vampire Dress" if you’re so inclined, or her engagement ring, which has a $3,000 to $5,000 estimated price. Or how about her "Bloodstained Nightmare Wedding Dress," as pictured below? [Editor’s note: #SorryNotSorry, that dress is mine.]
Other items on offer include Edward Cullen’s journal (obsessive love-notes included), Bella’s copy of Romeo & Juliet (ironic subtext included), Jacob Black’s motorcycle, Bella’s iPod (it’s a Classic, so kind of a collector’s item in itself), and every single outfit anybody ever wore to the cafeteria, for some reason.
There’s furniture too, if you’ve ever felt like your study sessions would be enhanced by sitting at Bella’s bedroom desk. This wooden Porch Bear from the Swan house is potentially what your front yard has been missing all this time. The auction’s website will even allow you to search through the lots by character, just in case you’re really jonesing for some Emmett Cullen threads.
Bidding is already open, and the auction takes place on November 19 through the 20th at the TCL Chinese Theatres in Hollywood, California. You can place your bids in person, by phone, or online.
