Aww, Carlos Yulo And All His Siblings Just Had Their First International Family Trip Together

Published on Jun 29, 2026
After winning two Olympic gold medals in 2024, Carlos Yulo has continued to reach milestone after milestone. But through it all, one thing has remained constant: he has never forgotten to celebrate these moments with the people who have supported him every step of the way.
And this year, he got to experience a particularly special one alongside his siblings, Jorielgel Yulo, Karl Yulo, and Elaiza Yulo, as well as his ever-supportive girlfriend, Chloe San Jose. Together, they embarked on their very first international family trip to Melbourne, Australia.
Last June 26, Carlos shared a short video of their trip on Instagram, hopping on a popular TikTok trend. With the playful caption, "Come travel with us 🫶🏻✈️," the video featured adorable snippets of their journey—from their time at the Philippine airport to their arrival in Melbourne.
Carlos' younger siblings, Karl and Elaiza, have pursued gymnastics as well. And while traveling abroad for competitions is nothing new for athlete families like theirs, this marked the first time the siblings got to travel overseas together purely for vacation—and with all four siblings complete! ☺️
Of course, anyone who's ever come home from a memorable trip knows that the post-vacation emotions hit hard. Whether they're still recovering from their travel hangover or simply taking their time curating their photo dumps, our Olympic champion couldn't help but share some of their first snapshots on Facebook, writing, "Our first international travel together: all 4/4 siblings in one trip, there's always a FIRST TIME! 🇦🇺🐨🦘"
It also seems that Chloe played a big role in making this well-deserved family getaway happen. In the same Facebook post, Carlos added, "Salamat mahal Chloe, lalong lalo na po kay LORD for making this happen 🙏🏻☝🏻🤍" And honestly, this might just be what couple goals truly look like.

Dreaming big and working hard to achieve those dreams seem to be values the Yulo siblings have always shared. Just weeks before their Melbourne trip, the family celebrated another major milestone: finally having homes of their own.
On May 2, Carlos posted an Instagram Reel expressing how proud and happy he was to see his siblings achieve such an important life goal. Chloe also shared the video on Facebook and revealed that the siblings had actually purchased separate homes—one for eldest sister Jorielgel, and another to be shared by Karl and Elaiza. She wrote that these were "All from their OWN [hard-earned] money! Kaya nakaka-happy talaga to see their independence and peace of mind."
And of course, no housewarming celebration is complete without a family photo. Carlos shared one on Instagram with the heartfelt caption: "From dreams, prayers, and hard work, to finally having a place to call your own; your own peace and your own beginning."
Whether it's celebrating major milestones or simple moments of joy, one thing is clear: the Yulo siblings continue to show up for one another. Earlier this year, on January 24, they celebrated Karl's 18th birthday with a fun-filled trip to Enchanted Kingdom.
Jorielgel, took to Instagram to commemorate the occasion, writing, "When the stars aligned and all the siblings were finally together 🥹✨ Happiest Birthday Karl Eldrew Yulo! 🩵"
Carlos also made sure to express how much the experience meant to him, sharing, "Maraming salamat po EK sa mainit na pag tanggap, pag alaga sa amin at sa memories na dadalhin namin pauwi! Sobra po kaming nag enjoy 🫶🏻🎢"
Back in 2024, when Carlos made history as a Filipino gymnast and Olympic champion, his family also found themselves at the center of public attention beyond his historic achievement.
Around that time, his mother, Angelica Yulo, publicly spoke about a portion of his prize money that had been entrusted to her and raised concerns about his relationship with Chloe. Carlos later responded by saying that the money had been deposited into his mother's account without his consent—a situation that, for him, went beyond financial matters.
Since then, Carlos has chosen to establish boundaries in his relationship with his mother—a decision that has sparked differing opinions both online and offline, particularly in a country with deeply rooted values surrounding family obligations and the idea of "giving back" to one's parents. Even now, many people continue to have varying perspectives on how Carlos and his siblings navigate their family relationships.
What remains evident, however, is that the Yulo siblings are doing their best to build lives of their own. And seeing them celebrate their first international trip together feels like a beautiful reminder that family can look different for everyone—and that there's no one right way to love, support, and show up for each other.
We're so happy to see you making core memories together, Yulo siblings! And right now, what we're dying to ask is: where to next? 🤭
