It was Sabrina Spellman's *fictional* birthday party last week, and it was epic. Chilling Adventures of Sabrina is a new series brought to us by Riverdale showrunner Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa, with Kiernan Shipka playing the lead role.
And because Filipinos are ~extra~, they brought their A-game and dressed up as characters from the show. There was even a *stuffed* black cat as Salem!
Sabrina
Sabrina is a half-witch (dad's side), half-mortal (mom's side) who's about to turn 16 years old. She lives with her two aunts and a cousin named Ambrose, and they all live in the town of Greendale (yep, the one near Riverdale, across Sweetwater River).
Aryanna Epperson
Inah de Belen
LOL! Here's previous The Morning Rush host Gino Quillamor in Sabrina's red coat and a blonde wig. You're doing amazing, sweetie!
The Weird Sisters
The Weird Sisters, based on the trailer, aren't that nice. This trio is made up of Agatha, Prudence, and Dorcas—pure-blood witches who seem intent to give Sabrina a hard time.
This cosplaying trio also dressed up as Josie and The Pussycats from Riverdale last year!
Aunt Hilda and Aunt Zelda
Sabrina's aunts are full-blooded witches who raise her in the absence of her parents.
Here's Wynonah Buot and Annalita Vizcarra as Aunt Zelda and Aunt Hilda:
Harvey Kinkle
Sabrina's high school boyfriend Harvey has no idea that she's actually a witch. He's played by former Disney star Ross Lynch in the reboot.
Here's Synjin Reyes as Harvey with Angelique Manto as Sabrina:
Madam Satan
In the Sabrina comics, Madam Satan was a jilted ex-lover of Sabrina's father who disguised herself as a teacher in order to get closer to the teenager. In this adaptation, however, it looks like Madam Satan will be possessing Sabrina's favorite teacher to bring her to the ~dark side~.
Here's Dani Barretto as Madam Satan!
The Dark Lord
The Dark Lord may or may not be the series' version of (ahem) Satan, but one thing's for sure: He's scary AF. Here's Prince De Guzman dressed up as the scary creature:
Chilling Adventures of Sabrina premieres on Netflix October 26.
