ICYMI, Celine Dion arrived in Manila past midnight today. The Grammy award-winning singer, known for tracks such as the Titanic theme song "My Heart Will Go On," "The Power of Love," and "The Prayer," will be holding a special two-night concert on July 19 (yes, that's TONIGHT) and 20, at the SM Mall of Asia Arena.
Get this: just as Celine stepped outside, it started to pour, but that didn't stop her from giving everyone warm greetings!
Here she is, getting off her private plane:
"I had this song that just came out in my head: 'I came ready... Rain or shine, I came ready,'" she sang as she was surrounded by the press. It looks like Celine can handle the turbulent Philippine weather just fine, considering it's her first time in the country!
"I'm very, very excited. I'm not just talking about me, but I'm talking on behalf of all my people, the musicians, the singers, we're all excited to be here," she shared.
Her message to Filipino fans? "I can't wait to meet them!"
We sure can't wait to meet her, too!
After the Manila leg of #CelineDionLive2018, the Canadian superstar and her team will proceed to Thailand, followed by a series of shows in Australia and New Zealand.
