1. She's Filipino-British-Irish and has roots in Bicol.

2. She was scouted at a shopping mall.

Some people spend years trying to break into modeling. For Christina, it started with a chance encounter at Westfield, a shopping mall in London, where a model scout approached her while she was out with friends.

She eventually signed with an agency and began traveling to London for castings at 17. One of her early career highlights was getting flown to the US for a shoot with American Eagle. Not a bad outcome for a regular day out with friends!

3. She's already got an impressive modeling resumé.

Christina's modeling portfolio was already impressive before she landed her VSFS casting. She's worked on projects for major fashion names, including Louis Vuitton, Kenzo, Kith, and Off-White.

She also walked in L'Oréal Paris' Le Défilé during Paris Fashion Week in 2025, sharing the runway with international stars like Kendall Jenner and Cara Delevingne.

4. She made her Victoria's Secret Fashion Show debut in 2026.

Christina made her Victoria's Secret Fashion Show debut on October 18, 2026, in Los Angeles, joining the lineup of models walking for one of the fashion industry's most recognizable lingerie brands.

Her debut also marks a major moment for Filipina representation in fashion. She is only the second Filipina model to walk the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show, following Kelsey Merritt, who made history as the first in 2018.

Ahead of the show, Nadin shared the news in an Instagram post, writing, "secrets out. mum i'm walking the @victoriassecret fashion show @vspink 🪽🪽🪽🩷." So sweet!

5. She launched a Filipino-inspired brand called Bahay Kubo.

Modeling isn't Christina's only creative pursuit. In 2024, she launched Bahay Kubo, a hair accessory brand inspired by Filipino culture and '90s aesthetics.

The name takes inspiration from the Filipino folk song "Bahay Kubo" and the traditional nipa hut, giving the brand a Filipino touch. Paired with its '90s-inspired aesthetic, the label brings together local cultural references and nostalgic fashion, with hair accessories that show off Christina's creative side beyond modeling.

6. She's openly spoken about representation in fashion.

Growing up in the UK with Filipino roots, Nadin looked up to people who shared her heritage and made a name for themselves in Western entertainment. In a 2022 interview with The Third World, she spoke about the importance of seeing Filipino representation in the industry, especially while growing up far from home. Now, she's building an international modeling career of her own, giving Filipino fans another name to root for.

She's also been candid about how competitive modeling can get, including the rejections that come with the job. With major fashion names on her portfolio and a VSFS runway debut now under her belt, she's definitely come a long way since getting scouted at 17.

Congratulations, Christina!
