Hunter James, the son and first child of Cristalle Belo Pitt and her husband Justin Pitt, has finally been released from the neonatal intensive care unit. He was born prematurely at 33 weeks on May 28, 2018. At the time, Cristalle, who gave birth to him via C-section at the Makati Medical Center, was asking for prayers for Hunter’s lungs to develop properly.

Yesterday, on June 16, 2018, Cristalle revealed the good news on her Instagram account. She posted a video of Hunter being wheeled into her hospital room.

Cristalle captioned the post, “After 18 days in [the] NICU, my baby is finally rooming with us! It’s the 'halfway house' between [the] NICU and home, so we’re definitely one step closer. Thank you to Drs. @ayenuguid, @martinpmanahanmd, @terrigirl_md, #DraMartinez, and all the amazing doctors and staff who held our hands through this journey. It was such an emotional roller coaster, but I now know what it’s like to stand for someone you lovewe all literally fought for his life. Now you’re in my arms, you are never leaving my side! We love you so much, #HunterJamesPitt...and we’re happy you’re here now to join our little family.”
