Cute Fans Of The Whitest Boy Alive Share Their Summer Soundtracks

This month, give your outdated music library a much needed makeover. We asked cuties at a concert in RepubliQ to reveal their favorite summer songs.

Summer's upon us, and it's the perfect time to compile beach/travel/party-ready playlists that will put you in just the right mood to kick back and relax. Give your old, outdated summer tunes a rest (really, there are only so many times you can listen to "Island In The Sun") and catch up on the latest tracks that are heating up airwaves around the world.

For a soundtrip unlike any other, check out The Whitest Boy Alive, a German-Norwegian band based in Berlin (you may be familiar with their vocalist Erlend Oye's other band, the Kings of Convenience, which also toured here last year). Cosmo caught their concert in Manila recently, which transformed RepubliQ at Newport Mall, Resorts World into a mini-European dance club!

The band was playful and experimental in their performance, with Erlend changing up the lyrics to suit Manila culture and even jumping into the audience to crowd-surf! If you're curious about their sound, listen to the track "Burning," a perfect feel-good song to score your summer with.

We wanted to find out what cute music-lovers among the crowd are listening to, so we cornered some of them to ask: "What's on your soundtrack for summer?" Launch the gallery to find out who's spinning on their playlists and get inspired to create your own summer soundtrack (or, create one for your guy as a sweet summer surprise)!
