Daniel Padilla just did the sweetest thing! He surprised Kathryn Bernardo by visiting her in Hong Kong, where she's been busy filming her upcoming first-ever movie project with Alden Richards, Hello, Love, Goodbye.
Director Peewee Gonzales captured the touching moment on camera and shared it earlier via Instagram stories. Kathryn was so happy to see Daniel she actually leaped onto him!
"Let's give these two a moment of silence. Haaay. Kumain na daw pero kakain ulit para sabay ang mag-tangi," captioned Peewee. Aww!
Peewee also shared another photo with what looks like lyrics to a song. "Kahit malayo. Kahit malapit. Ang mundo mo ay hindi saan. Kundi, sino. Ikaw ang aking mundo."
In this photo, it looks like the couple was catching up with one another, looking at something on a mobile phone.
Today, Daniel posted a video showing the highlights of #KathnielLovesJapan, a travel series he and Kathryn did for the Japan Tourism Board, which was released last February 28. Part of their trip involved visits to Hokkaido and Hiroshima. Daniel's IG post came with the caption, "Isang produkto ng pagmamahal."
The most aww-evoking thing about the video is the music video treatment, to the lyrics of a song called "Ikaw Ang Aking Mundo" (now we see the connection to Peewee's IG stories caption!).
In the video we can see clips of Daniel transitioning from one scenic location in Japan to another:
And then we see Kathryn and another series of their shots together.
Aww, here they're dressed in traditional Japanese attire!
The story closes with a shot of the two of them facing each other, then leaning in for a kiss.
Incidentally, Daniel is celebrating his birthday on April 26. Is he staying until then so he can be with Kathryn on his special day?
