There's no denying that David Beckham absolutely adores his kids, but just like any other doting dad, he also absolutely loves to embarrass them too.

Fresh from trolling eldest son Brooklyn on Instagram Liveduring which he observantly pointed out that Brooklyn should be at school and that he was wearing his shirthere are six glorious (and grounding) times David Beckham embarrassed his kids...

1. #ismydadcoolerthanme?

Reaching one million followers on Instagram is no mean featespecially when you're only 17 and still at school. So just as cool-as-a-cucumber Brooklyn tried to celebrate achieving the impressive milestone (and mom Victoria's birthday), trust dad David to videobomb his moment by shouting: "Brooklyn, we're going!" He then popped into shot to proudly announce: "I've got 52 [million]!"

Brooklyn was faced with any teenager boy's worst fear: #ismydadcoolerthanme?

2. "Brooklyn looking his cool self..."

While budding photographer Brooklyn's Instagram page is filled with artistic black and white shots, and similar brooding selfies, Beckham Sr. couldn't resist in sharing a snap of his son sitting next to what looks like a sinister leprechaun-elf hybrid.

He added the cheeky caption: "Brooklyn looking his cool self... Sorry but I had to post this.. Love you big boy"

Daaaaaaaaaad!!!

3. "Wooooooooooooooooooo000000oooooooooo!!!!"

Poor Brooklyn seems to be the butt of most of David Beckham's embarrassing dad jokes, so let's have a listen to him mortify his youngest son Cruz instead.

The aspiring young popstar was listening to his debut Christmas single being aired on the radio, and so proud was our Becks, that he couldn't hold in his pure, unadulterated delight. In a very high-pitched scream. Lolz.

4. Public dating shaming

There's nothing worse than your dad knowing anything about your love life as a teenager, let alone talking about it. Let alone talking about to James Corden, on James Corden's TV show, on a sofa next to Claire Danes and Breaking Bad's Bob Odenkirk. See a close-up of Brooklyn's literal red-faced shame above....

5. When "old school" fashion actually means your dad's sweater...

Brooklyn was setting the scene with this soft and brooding selfie as he posed with his eyes closed and set the filter to black and white. He added the caption: "Rocking the old school Ralph Lauren."

"That's my jumper (British English for 'sweater')," David quipped.

At least he was wearing his seat belt...

6.  School bus driver Becks

Back to US chat shows and Brooklyn, again, (sorry, Brooklynthere's a brief mention of Romeo too, this time)... While featuring on Jimmy Kimmel Live, old Becks revealed how his new-found retirement from football means he is now chief taxi driver for all four children. "The two smaller boys, they love it [me taking them to school], apart from my middle son Romeo," Beckham gleefully disclosed.

"He's 12 and he's just started. As soon as I take him into school I go to kiss him and he turns his cheek, so I will then pick him up and give him a bear hug and kiss him in front of his friends." David, you rascal.

He added: "And then my eldest Brooklyn says, 'Dad, park around the corner.' And then he gets out and walks around the corner. He did it to me the other day after doing it five times on the trot, so I'm driving round and he's just walking into school, and I open the window and go, 'Brooklyn I love you.'Obviously it didn't go down so well."

David, we love you.
