On Instagram, the supportive actress and artist shared some photos taken during her trip, and, unsurprisingly given their political nature, her posts received negative comments from some users.
One user commented, “I am from Sorsogon. Ahem. Ano ba mga nagawa ng Escudero diyan. Eh ni firetruck sa barangay eh wala. Kung meron, jusme, napaka-outdated.”
Heart’s savage reply? “Research :) baka maiyak ka.”
Another user wrote, “Campaign pa more. Lol.”
To this, Heart said, “Yes, I enjoy! :) also full support for my husband. :)”
Someone also criticized Heart’s photos for allegedly being staged. “Sobrang ka-plastican naman, Ms. Heart, yung palengke scene mo. ‘Di [makatotohanan] yung mga ganun action mo! Ang OA lang. Walang sincerity, parang gimik lang!”
Heart responded, “You may say what you want :) I am only answerable to God. Life is too short, my dear (if you only knew the battles we all face and how fast our time here on earth is). Do good and do everything from your heart. :) at the end of the day, I did my part. I served my purpose. Pray before you post.”
But the comments section also has kind words for Heart. Someone wrote, “It feels so good knowing you can say our Bicol dialect. Makaogmahon sa puso. Salamatununon!”
Another said, “Salamat sa pagbisita uli, Ms. @iamhearte.”
A user also told Heart to check out the beaches in the area and to post photos of them, so that Sorsogon can become a tourist attraction.
Heart told her, “I plan to do that :)”
