It's Over: Heaven Peralejo Confirms Breakup With Marco Gallo

Heaven revealed their "mutual decision" to break up through a short interview uploaded by TV reporter MJ Marfori on July 24, 2025. It was the same day that Heaven was announced as the female protagonist of her newest series, I Love You Since 1892.

"We're not together anymore," Heaven clearly stated. "It was a mutual decision to move forward individually. We're okay. We're good friends."

Heaven emphasized that although they need some time apart after the breakup, they remain good friends and good colleagues. "Before naman po naging kami, we were good friends. Yun yung foundation namin eh," she assured in the interview.

She added, "As of the moment, we have to give time to each other to breathe. Pero once we see each other and when we see each other, okay kami. Parang walang nagbago."

With that, the press also asked if she’s still willing to work with Marco and continue as the MarVen love team. "Oo naman. We can still work together. May two books pa kami," she said, noting that they're still set to portray their roles as Kalix and Luna in The University Series. The two have reprised their characters in The Rain in España, Safe Skies, Archer, Chasing in the Wild, and Avenus of the Diamond—all streaming on Viva One.

Heaven goes on to express her thanks for all the fans who have supported them both as a couple and individually. "Sana, of course, maintindihan po 'yan ng mga taong nagmamahal sa'min and tuloy-tuloy pa rin ang pag-suporta kahit we're on a different path na di ba," Heaven stated.

Heaven and Marco first met through the reality show Pinoy Big Brother in 2016, where they were fellow housemates. No real romance blossomed between them at the time, but as Heaven said, their connection began with friendship inside the PBB house. Still, some people on the Internet believed there was already a hint of a romance brewing between the two.

After leaving the show, however, the universe had other plans. They went their separate ways until they were officially paired for the first time in 2023 for the groundbreaking series, The Rain in España.

Thanks to their top-notch chemistry and the overwhelming support from fans, the MarVen love team became a huge success. From there, it seemed the two had developed real feelings for each other offscreen.

The two never explicitly confirmed their relationship, but there were clear signs of their love. Case in point: when they said, "I love you" to each other back in November 2024. At the time, Marco greeted Heaven with a video of them taking snaps in a photo booth—a clip that showed just how sweet and intimate they were with each other. His caption read, "Happy 25th birthday, mahal. Can't be more proud of you." As of writing, the post is still up on Marco's Instagram account.

As if Marco's post wasn't already intimate and intense, Heaven responded with another public display of affection. She replied, "I love you. Wish you were here." And of course, Marco didn't leave Heaven seenzoned—he replied in the comments section, "I love you too."

By June 2025, some people on the Internet had already begun speculating about a possible breakup, after noticing that Heaven and Marco were no longer following each other on Instagram. Marco hasn't posted or said anything regarding the matter as of now.
