The internet can be such a wonderful and nasty place at the same time. While we have the freedom to post *almost* whatever we want, sometimes people take it a bit too far and hide behind usernames just to leave nasty and inappropriate comments. Celebrities are the easiest targets, and Anne Curtis isn't spared from receiving sleazy (read: kadiri af) messages.
According to PUSH.ph, Anne and her Just A Stranger co-star Marco Gumabao had a chat on Gandang Gabi Vice over one of Anne's swimsuit Insta pics. Here's the cute snap of Anne wearing a yellow swimsuit:
Marco was then tasked to read some of the gross comments left on her pic—none of which we will publish here. Ew lang, okay.
When asked how she felt about these sleazy comments, Anne said, "Minsan nakakatawa kasi e. Yung iba parang ano ba 'to?" But she added that she never takes these kinds of replies to heart: "I don't take it seriously because once you post it out there, public property na 'yan 'di ba?"
She also stressed that she willingly posts her pictures on the social media platform and accepts her followers to comments however way they like: "Hiningi mo din naman 'yon. Humingi ka rin ng comments. Hindi mo naman in-off yung comments mo."
While Anne taking responsibility for her posts is something we should definitely applaud, it still does not give online users a free pass to leave inappropriate comments on anyone's posts. Respeto lang, guys, okay?
