And when Kathryn Bernardo is part of the pairing, whether with Daniel Padilla as KathNiel or Alden Richards as KathDen, you can bet fans are all in.

Is Direk Cathy Garcia-Sampana Open To Doing Another KathNiel Film?
And for fans still clinging to the hope of seeing KathNiel on the silver screen again, there's one woman whose voice carries weight: Direk Cathy Garcia-Sampana. The acclaimed director behind The Hows of Us, the highest-grossing Filipino film of the time, and both Hello, Love, Goodbye and its sequel Hello, Love, Again, knows what it takes to make it possible.
So, will we ever get another KathNiel film, despite the breakup?
"KathNiel will always be KathNiel," Direk Cathy told PEP.ph in a recent interview.
"They may be paired with others, pero marami pa rin ang may gusto sa kanila," she added.
While she didn’t confirm anything concrete, she didn't shut the door either. She made it clear she's open, if the timing and, most importantly, the story feels right.
"Kung may kuwento namang bagay sa kanila, bakit hindi? Walang yes or no, 'e," she said.
Kathryn and Daniel may now be pursuing their own dreams—Kathryn exploring new territory as a Pilipinas Got Talent judge, and Daniel recently stepping into the action genre with Incognito—but Direk Cathy isn't bothered. In fact, she's proud.
"Malalaki na sila, and I like them to experience the life that they wanted… Lahat naman desisyon nila, so I'm happy that they do it their way," she said.
As for the future of Hello, Love, Again, the chapter might not be closed either. Despite winning “Most Popular Film Director of the Year” at the 53rd Guillermo Box Office Entertainment Awards for the sequel, she says she isn't calling it "done."
"The chance is always there, it's just a matter of time… If time permits, pag ka may kuwentong maganda, why not? Di ko alam, ayokong magsalita ng tapos," she shared.
"Nothing is final, but we can hope, we can only hope. Kung may kuwento pa, why not?" she added.
