It's a dream come true for actor Jake Cuenca as he pays back his mother's love with a precious gift.

Jake started his career at the age of nine and played a couple of cameo roles. He had his fair share of supporting roles before he got his first big break when he got the lead role in ABS-CBN's Sineserye Presents: Natutulog Ba Ang Diyos?  Since then, Jake had back-to-back projects.

This actor seems to have already reached the top of his game. But no matter how much he has achieved, Jake never forgets to express his love and gratitude to his loved ones.

On his Instagram, Jake uploaded a video of her mom receiving his presenta *brand new* car. 

The actor said in his post that the pandemic made him focus more on the people who mattered the most to him. He promised himself that he would take care of the people he loved, starting with his mother.

He added in his caption, "got my mom a bnew car today. I love you mama @rachecuenca kulang pa yan. thank you lord for moments like this."

Jake has been on a roll since the entertainment industry reopened following the pandemic. He starred in various well-loved teleseryes for the past three years including Dreamscape's Viral Scandal alongside Charlie Dizon, Joshua Garcia, and Dimples Romana.

Jake was also part of the Prime Video exclusive, Cattleya Killer. His co-stars in this psycho-thriller series were siblings Arjo and Ria Atayde, Jane Oineza, plus veteran actors including Ricky Davao, Zsa Zsa Padilla, Christopher De Leon, and Nonie Buencamino.

In a media interview, Jake shared that his role in the said series was his dream project. Cattleya Killer had its international screening at the MIPCOM Cannes in 2022.

At present, Jake is starring in ABS-CBN's hit teleserye Iron Heart alongside Richard Gutierrez, Sue Ramirez, and Sofia Andres.

Oh and by the way, Jake is having his first theater role this year with Phil Noble's Dick Talk—which is set to tackle men's struggles in today's society.

Jake is all about work this 2023 and perhaps, a little bit of romance. It's because of his budding romance with actress Chie Filomeno. (At the moment, the two are mum about their relationship status.) One thing Jake has confirmed to the media is that Chie makes him happy.
