As a reminder, these two were first reported to be dating back in summer 2018, got engaged in February 2019, and then got married in a celeb-packed wedding the following October in Rhode Island. The guest list? Just casual people like Kris Jenner, Adele, Amy Schumer, and Emma Stone.
JLaw and Cooke are super private about their relationship, but she did open up about their vibe on Catt Sadler's podcast, Naked with Catt Sadler, back in 2019, calling him "the greatest human being I've ever met."
"He really is, and he gets better," she added, going on to explain why she decided to get married: "I don't know, I started with the basics: 'How do I feel? Is he nice? Is he kind?' It's just—this is the one, I know that sounds really stupid but he's just, he's—you know. He's the greatest person I've ever met, so I feel very honored to become a Maroney."
Jennifer also low-key opened up about their vibes during an episode of Absolutely Not With Heather McMahan in 2020, saying that he "knows the drill" when it comes to her need for friend time.
"My friend came over and it was not planned, but she ended up spending the night and we slept in my bed and my husband slept in our guest room," she said. "My best friend in the entire world, we used to have sleepovers all the time and then she got married when we were pretty young. I was, like, 24 and I was, like, 'Well I understand, you know, it's gonna change, you're gonna get married.' And she was like 'No, it's not.' And we still to this day—she's been married for seven years—we still to this day have sleepovers. Love a girly slumber party."
Congrats to Jennifer and Cooke!
